Pre-ordered the Lego Dimensions starter and Dr Who booster.  Also picked up the Town Hall on eBay, although not as good of a price as Vortex ($425).  Really wish I had picked it up a few years ago but thought it was too expensive then at $200.  *Sigh*

What makes you change your mind from a couple of years ago when you didn't want to pay $200, but now you're willing to pay $400+?  Just curious.... :)

I wasn't collecting the modulars back then but have recently gotten into them.  I picked a few years late to start, since I remember seeing the Green Grocer years ago and not picking it up.

Waiting eagerly for the Heavy-Haul Train to become available in the US for order.  Also for the rest of the Deep Sea stuff to become available at Target/Walmart (I already have 60090, 60091 and 60092).  Also want some but not all of the new City Space stuff when it shows up in stores.

Picked up Orthanc when it popped up on the Lego site last night.  Just hoping it actually ships.

Over the weekend I also picked up the Ewok Village and the X-Men vs. Sentinel set from the Lego store.  That of course got me the Pirates freebie.

Just got the Big Bang Theory set at TRU with 20% off using the BBB coupon.  Had VIP points burning a hole in my pocket so went to the Lego store to get the Ferris Wheel or the Tower Bridge. Easy decision since the Ferris Wheel was sold out and now really having a good time building the Tower Bridge.

Bought too much in Billund, so no more for me until next year!

Except Series 14 CMF, I'll get those when I see them.

    Oh, and WallE...

Oh right, and the new Toy Shop...

Er, and the Temple of Airjitsu...

Of course I haven't seen any of the new Star Wars sets yet...

New month, new bricks. Halloween seasonal set and Advent Calendars are on their way to me... I dunno why I talked myself into the Advent Calendars. I know I need figures for my Modular City since it's pretty much entirely populated by firefighters and police officers at the moment.

Waiting for next month to go Wall-E hopefully, and... and... I dunno. Gotta figure out something good for double points.

Was great timing on the release of Wall-E in Germany.  Just picked him up in Munich before flying out tomorrow.  Also grabbed 5 random Monsters minifigs.  Scored 2x Zombie Pirates, Zombie Cheerleader, Bigfoot and Spider Lady.  Now just have to throw out some clothes from carry on to fit Wall-E.

**Edit** Forgot about the Ninjago poly "Kai Drifter" that was thrown in for free!

Just purchased #21024 The Louvre, #40122 Trick or Treat, and #40153 Birthday Cake.  Birthday Cake is backordered until November but thats just in time for my wife's b-day so that will be nice.  I had $75 in gift cards so all is coming for around $9 US out of pocket.

i m new here. not a native english speaker

currently in the phase of sorting my collection und learning how to snot properly! i ve been in a dark age for 23 years or something! over the summer i bought a ton of mixed lots which i am currently sorting out!
i got into lego again when deciding to build a case for my raspberry pi from my old lego (sets from 1990). also my little nephew is old enough now to play with lego, so that also turned me towards "brick addiction" when building his birthday presents with him.
anyway, i discovered great things in the new lego universe:
    bionicle, hero factory and exo-force.
but the greatest thing my nephew and me totally dig is NINJAGO! he knows all the story things from ninjago (watches the show daily) and me, yea, i ve been into mechwarriors, ninjas, samurai, anime, videogames for years and still am. also love the oriental style buildings (got the airjitsu temple day 1).

i m still in the process of sorting all the pieces from various mixed lots, but i already have big plans for my vast collection of warriors, knights, ninjas, drunk girls, mechs, spider-walkers and airships (yea. i like steampunk also).

currently trying to buy all the ninjago sets which have a mech, robot or dragon in it.
i dont like the early dragon sets too much so its no biggie that i dont get them anymore!
another thing i like to collect is arachnoid-robot-walkers and bionicle-"hoverbikes" (rockoh, jetrax, axalara ....). i dont like the bionicle figures too much. there are only a few which aesthaetically please my eyes!

    recently bought new:
    http://brickset.com/sets/70751-1/Temple-of-Airjitzu
    http://brickset.com/sets/9448-1/Samurai-Mech
    http://brickset.com/sets/70500-1/Kai-s-Fire-Mech
    http://brickset.com/sets/70725-1/Nindroid-MechDragon
    http://brickset.com/sets/70734-1/Master-Wu-Dragon
    http://brickset.com/sets/70736-1/Attack-of-the-Morro-Dragon
    http://brickset.com/sets/70737-1/Titan-Mech-Battle
    http://brickset.com/sets/70738-1/Final-Flight-of-Destiny-s-Bounty
    http://brickset.com/sets/70748-1/Titanium-Dragon
    http://brickset.com/sets/70723-1/Thunder-Raider
all still in original packaging and sealed
    also
a book giving instructions for controlling lego with raspberrry pi
and the ninja adventure book with the mech in it

    also got some used sets:
    http://brickset.com/sets/7704-1/Sonic-Phantom           8€
    http://brickset.com/sets/7706-1/Mobile-Defense-Tank      6€
    http://brickset.com/sets/8112-1/Arachnoid-Stalker      3€
    http://brickset.com/sets/8106-1/Aero-Booster        12€
    http://brickset.com/sets/70706-1/Crater-Creeper   4€

those used sets i mainly bought for parts i wanna use in my
NINJA FORTRESS DIORAMA (first some sorting) and building "CUSTOM MECH MOCS"
rockoh, jetrax and axalara get put on display (old aquarium) with a custom figure. they cost me around 24€ (all 3 of them) used. the used bionicle parts from the bionicle mixed lots cost me around 80€ , but its soooo much. barely fitting into 20 ikea-samla boxes. sometimes i got the bionicles for just coming by and picking them up. bionicle is cheap. very cheap nowadays!

    the future! hmmm....
i would buy those complete sets (for a reasonable price):
    http://brickset.com/sets/9446-1/Destiny-s-Bounty
    http://brickset.com/sets/70728-1/Battle-for-Ninjago-City

not sure if i should buy:
    http://brickset.com/sets/2254-1/Mountain-Shrine  used
    http://brickset.com/sets/2505-1/Garmadon-s-Dark-Fortress used
    http://brickset.com/sets/70732-1/City-of-Stiix   new sealed
    http://brickset.com/sets/70756-1/Dojo-Showdown new sealed

those sealed boxes will sit in my drawer for some months i think (maybe never get unboxed), as i totally underestimated the time i need for sorting all the mixed lots i purchased (and still purchasing). its a hunt and what a hunt!
but man!!! i finally can build my dream fortress and dream mechs aswell as fully live out my "collect-things-fetish". this is all a bit familiar as i ve been collecting hats in tf2 for years!

Don't know how much it is frowned upon to double post!? But I also mentioned it in more detail on this thread:

The lunar limo is just awesome. Great choice
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
^Indeed it is! Oddly the Lunar Limo was one of my first EOL set purchases too when coming out of the Dark Ages. Don't quite know why I took a fancy to it tho. It must be the fig in purple pimp suit with gold chains & matching hat.

Just ordered the Hobbit lonely mountain 79018. I kept putting it off because the price felt high to me, but I realized that I would definitely regret it later if I missed it (I won't pay triple for a set after retirement). When it arrives, I believe I will have the entire line of middle earth sets, save for a few exclusive figures and such. Can't wait to set it all up together!

I was going to buy Metalbeard's Sea Cow from LegoS@H this morning only to see it was Sold Out!  I called and the lady told me it has been retired and they will not be making anymore.  Such a sad day!!  I almost purchased it a couple days ago when it was still in stock.  I was trying to wait for a Cash Back bonus to come in and it is later than i thought it would be.  Now i will have to may a premium.  Fail on my part.
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
^It's not over yet @JELJ1S. The next move is to call the Lego Stores starting from nearest to you and ask if they have it still on the shelves (my guess is they do). Then you can ask them to ship it to you for a small cost (no free shipping).
  • JELJ1SJELJ1S Member Posts: 94
@brickdancer Yeah.  I called the 2 in my state and both are out of stock.  I called a total of 8 in other cites near people I know and they are all sold out as well.
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
US correct? The furthest I had something delivered through this approach was from Mall of America sending an Imperial Flagship all the way to Los Angeles. So distance is not a hard restriction, other than a slightly higher freight cost. But best of luck hunting down the Sea Cow!
  • JELJ1SJELJ1S Member Posts: 94
Thanks! I found a couple but the stores said they will not accept payment over the phone. Im working with some friends that live in the region to try to pick one up.
  • JELJ1SJELJ1S Member Posts: 94
My friend was able to get the MetalBeard's Sea Cow from a store in Virginia! I will get it in October when he comes to visit his daughter. Im excited for that! I now have all of The Lego Movie sets. Only minifig i dont have it Cutesy Kitty. Thats a bit on the pricey side for me right now.
