I figured that since most of us stayed home today with family that at what point or another you got to building something....
I'll go first.... I got two architecture sets (burj khalifa and Brandenburg gate) as Xmas gifts.... Put them together (love the box and booklet, not crazy about the models themselves)
Now I decided to star working on the Boeing 787 plane... So far so good... I really like how big it is....

So what did you / are you working on today?

I finished a rebuild of the 5571 Black Cat Model Team truck. The parts have been in storage for about 8 years :) A great building experience, it's built like a Ox.

I built the 5770 Lighthouse, in about an hour. It's a lot smaller than I was expecting. Still a beautiful little set. :D

as flump said, we charged up RC cars and played nerf (those discs can hurt!) but also built quite a few sets. Best was Funhouse but I was expecting to love it, best surprise was one of the spongebob's...way better than expected... DJ with equipment is awesome. I was a bit disappointed by my wonderwoman minifig (no bracelets :( ).

In the middle of Anakin Skywalker's and Sebulba's Podracers! Very nice set, don't think I'll smash it for pieces like I do with most of the SWs I receive... this one's meant for display.

Still haven't built anything :( I am currently to busy trying to finish my basement where my 8foot by 16foot table for my city will go! I do have a lot of NISB sets, but I am not interested in building them, at least for now! Heh heh.

We've been busy building some of the kid's Christmas presents with them today. So far we have built #7208 Fire Station, 8403 City House, 4842 Hogwart's Castle, 7639 Camper, and we've started on 7744 Police Headquarters. Fun LEGO building day!

Me and the boys worked in the lego room all day. I worked on a large backdrop Daily Planet. I challenged myself making the globe, and using the SNOT method quite a bit. Its not as cool as that amazing daily planet we seen online, but for the space I was quite happy, almost done.. (but then never really done!)

I built the Winter Bakery on the 25th, Toy Shop 26th but I still haven't finished the Post Office... I've also got loads of sealed HP stuff knocking around, a Kingdoms Prison Tower Rescue and a 7733 to build, plus the 2012 stuff I'm due to pick up at Argos!

The family built the new Friends' Cafe together. Love the trans-clear quarter panels curved, and there's a new modified 1x4 tile with studs on the ends. We love to each take turns building - we pass the instructions around the table.

I got the Blacksmith's Attack and a little Creator set... gave the creator set to my brother to build. I'd given my sister the 2012 camper, so she built that, and my brother got a Star Wars something-or-other ;), so the four of us sat around the table building our sets. My brother's wife helped him and built everyone's minifigs.

Built a few of the older sets over the past week. Started with the 10173 holiday train...then 6210 Sail Barge, the 7018 Viking ship (the sail is huge), and just last night 6277 Imperial Trading Fort (Still one of my favorites)...Probably will tear them down in a week, as I still have the MVR, AC Earth Defense on tap and need the space...

Just opened our first batch of Ninjago Booster Packs. Loved the Kendo Cole and Jay ZX one. Also watched my kid built the Venomari Shrine which we had fun to build and to look at :)

Built USS Constellation 10021 from mostly parts i had on hand. Bricklinked some just because of large quantities. Finished it and set it up on top of the living room entertainment center. Not far away sit QAR and Black Pearl. Something about the old ship looks better to me. Its instantly recognizable as Lego. Ive had people look at QAR and BP and ask...is that Lego? Going to try to find some more old school stuff to piece together.
