The train needed better photos. The military things look like cheesy G.I. Joe figures...

A better description would be 'post-zombie apocalypse' modular sets.

This one, the build's not actually that bad, but the title made me laugh!

What if I drop the rated box?
(Surely, that increases the rating!)
Each to their own, but personally the joy in collecting LEGO for me is not knowing the monetary value of my collection, it's in the time spent building things/taking silly pictures/letting my imagination loose a little. Hell, I've even found myself enjoying sorting pieces as a way to chill out a bit lately too.
@cheshirecat, twat tat? I like it... :D Makes them sound even more desperate!
Lets face it, the Yuppies will be more likely to get romantic liaisons because of their cars, then the Übergeeks because of their AFA Graded toys, unless they're trying for the affections of a fellow Übergeek... :D
It's no wonder nefarious sellers are increasingly trying to defraud buyers with AFA'd items in whatever way possible. And what easier way to defraud someone than by selling them a sealed box with invisible contents, itself sealed inside another box...
And then we can grade the certificate of authenticity...
a not yet released winter poly

a disco dance poly
are these valuable? :\
Now I feel utterly ridiculous.
Just one example, 46% more than RRP:

In an EOL soldout world £249 is probably what the asking price is going to be.

For people in some countries, buying the latest sets via EBay is their only option.
