We all had a good day building freestyle, and a Winter Viillage Oriental Temples of the Four Winds Theme, seemed to evolve.
Later pictures will show the North, East, South and West symbols we added to symbolise how Brickset brings people from all directions to the Lego Hobby. :)

    Edit:
It was also very interesting to meet a few well known faces and lots of other Brickset people.

It was a fantastic day which of course doesn't happen without first CEE securing and mailing the sets and then for people being willing to travel to participate. Great work everyone and thanks all round.

Wow - some seriously amazing designs there, and the Brickset team did us all proud!

Well done guys, and hope you enjoyed the day.

Great day . Thanks to Kev for the idea. I have only just got home after a coach decided to break down and lock its brakes in the right hand lane of the M11. But none of that miserable journey has dampened the day at all.  Some absolutely amazing ideas - none of which looked possible when looking at the inventory, and good to catch up with some people.

Just got back from the gathering and what a thoroughly enjoyable day.  Really interesting to meet other forum member and people from other LUG's.  Thanks to everyone that helped to arrange this.
Looking forward to 3 weeks time now when our Brickset entry* will be put on show with the others at Bricktastic.  Be sure to come along to Bricktastic and vote for us if you can.

*model may vary slightly from photo as some parts did not make the journey home in the same shape that they left. So will be reconstructed from the photographic evidence and memory.

Its kind of like ninjago done in a UK/US design style rather than oriental when you see it in person.
