I know we all love to see and collect new and old polybags. I am just curious what some of your favorite polybags may beand why. For me it is the 2009 anniversary chrome darth vader.

One of my favorites is #40052 Springtime Scene because it makes for nice scenery alongside my modulars in my "park" area

Set #4547551-1 is pretty hard to come by. It was for the 10th year anniversary the Lego had licensing with Star Wars. Also darth vader is my favorite character from star wars.

Plasticman....because it is kind of meta that they made a Lego figure of him....out of plastic.

Variety is the spice of life, and with polybags that's easy to attain. So I don't really have a single favourite, but these are amongst my favourites (and even though I've got plenty of them, I'd still buy more if I ever see any at a good price!):

Just looks tidy, almost un-Legolike. Useful for bonus birthday gifts.

    40048: Birthday Cake

A must for any Lego lighthouse collector and useful for background scenery.

    30023: Lighthouse

Simply a nice minifigure and theme.

    30111: The Lab

I think I first liked this because it seemed rare, but then it became less rare; nonetheless, it grew on me and I have far too many now :)

    30140: ADU Walker

Looks good and perches nicely on the edge of televisions, monitors, etc :)

    30021: Parrot

Looks great for its size, and it's easy to make alternative ploughs and other equipment to go on the back.

    30284: Tractor

Got a load of these nice and cheap for parts, but I quite like the model too.

    30024: Truck

Fantastic little army maker, and sleeker looking than the AT-STs.

    30274: AT-DP

And then there are the ones that I reckon would be my favourites if I had any!:

I like the clock, and the ghost. Never seen them for sale over here in the UK.

    30201: Ghost

Reminds me of one of my first technic sets, but this polybag was released while I was still in my dark ages, so I missed the boat there.

    7875: Backhoe

One of the better-looking helicopter polybags imho, but again, I don't think I've seen this in the UK.

    30181: Helicopter

Strangely, I never really got into the actual game, but I did like all the Heroica stuff. The main reason I want this is because it would complete my collection, yet I can't bring myself to pay the silly amounts of money they go for on eBay. And besides, I'd want two of them :)

    30170: Ganrash

Another rare one that i dont yet have because I don't want to pay silly money for it.

4695: Mini Harry Potter Knight Bus

#30313 is a great poly . the other ones would be either the #40057 Fall scene, or #40056 Thanksgiving feast scene

My favourite has ended up with two way tie between the #30162 Quinjet & the #30304 Avengers Quinjet. Just wish I could find a deal for the #30304 like I did with #30162, cheap enough that I bought several, so when the children eventually leave home they'd have their own Quinjet to take with them, would have been cool to add the Avengers Quinjet to that.

#2853590 Chrome Stormtrooper. It's rare, sexy, and more importantly is was my first polybag resell. I bought two and kept them closed for two years because I thought I would use them for mocs and wanted them fresh and ended up selling for a small profit.

#30216 Lake-town Guard is my favorite, I like the uniqueness of a primarily purple soldier(not to mention the fish hat). Plus having a previously hard to get fig in a poly perfect for army building is pretty rare.

Most of my favourites have already been mentioned. I like how all the following show what a handful of bricks and a lot of imagination can create. In no particular order:

    #30201 Ghost
    #30130 Mini Black Pearl
    #40052 Springtime Scene
    #40049 Sopwith Camel

I don't have these yet but would love to add them to my collection:

#5872 Golden Land - if only for the ludicrous colours
#1714 Surveillance Scooter - for nostalgia reasons
#40062 Log Cabin - really like the look

The #30224 Ride-On Lawnmower is my favourite poly. I also really like the #30161 Batmobile and the #30274 AT-DP.

I really like Rocket Raccoon for several reasons. Completes the Guardians team with the red jumpsuits, baby Groot, and the fun inclusion of stickers for customizing your Milano with battle damage.

#40019 for me but there were a lot of great ones to pick from.
  • FauchFauch Member Posts: 2,711
there are some nice looking ones. lake town guard and rocket racoon look pretty cool for example. but I don't know where to find polybags outside of promos. when I was child, shops were full of little 3-5€ sets (more like 20-30Fr actually) but now there is nothing under 10€.

^ Same problem in Finland. I've seen polybags in smaller shops sometimes but rarely anyway.

@TarDomo & @Fauch, we have similar problems here when it comes to the licenced IP polybags (Marvel, DC, Star Wars, etc), the only places to get them are the small toy stores that "specialise" in Lego & they charge like an enraged, wounded bull on steroids... I paid $10 AU less buying my Rocket Raccoon poly off eBay, then the cheapest of the "Lego specialists" in our city, who wanted $45 AU for him. Even now, eBay & BrickLink are cheaper than all three of them for the Hulk poly...
