That is a really nice take on the glider @MissKittyFantastico - It's a set I've got my eye on for the figures but most of the actual set will be scrapped for parts if I manage to find it for a good price.

@MissKittyFantastico, love your work, I'll probably do similar when I can get my hands on a Gobby from #10687, my only issue is I'll need a complete set for our little Mr six as well.

LEGO Modular Building - Brand Store (WIP)

LEGO Modular Building - Brand Store WIP

Finally the start of the actual 'LEGO Brand Store - Modular Building.' I might not do too many work in progress photos to keep it a surprise when I reveal the final model. I actually have halve of the model built on LDD waiting to finalise the designs before I work my way up.

This floor will consist of the main shopping area with the shelves and the iconic Brand Ribbon as well as the Pick A Brick Wall, LEGO Duck and Ole Kirk's House displays. The rest of the store floor will have The Gallery with iconic sets on display. The two areas on the side are a side entrance and a store room for employees only!

So I was looking at my Batcave following the news about the DoJ Batmobile, and it occurred to me, I never got a tumbler. But I did get the DKR Bane version, so I figured this'll be easy, just swap the brown and tan parts out for black parts, et voila, Batmobile, small compared to the other ones but good enough (the others are cooler anyway). Then I started thinking of little changes that'd make it more film-accurate - losing the central axle on front, having the full four wheels at the back, and I think you can see where this is going...

Not bad for a little build, I thought.  I worked out there're exactly six pieces of the original Bane tumbler still there - four wheels (of the six it now has), the windscreen, and the steering wheel.  Unfortunately there isn't actually room for a Batman in there anymore - the basic cockpit is still there, but I had to use a bit of that space for reinforcing pieces to make the roof strong enough.  Both the DKR Bat and the #76026 Bat-Mech gave their lives to provide a couple of minor parts - which I'm sure I had somewhere in the storage bins anyway, but I couldn't be bothered hunting for them, and it gave me an excuse to dismantle two models I didn't really care for anyway, so score.

With the announcement of #70751 Temple of Airjitzu, I decided to start my #2507 Fire Temple, which had been sitting in my backlog for a while.  I finished the first two bags last night, which got me a bigger dragon than I expected.

I also didn't expect it to be that big. and that's less than a quarter of the pieces used.

    Monochrome World 2.0

Still need to work on yellow, dark green, and clear. OK, OK purple and pearl gold, too.

But you get the point. :)

Where did you get the clear minifig?
    The elusive clear minifig!

Just this minute finished #75087, Anakin's hotrod fighter.  The Aethersprites - even the unmodified ones - always seem a lot larger and more impressive in person than they looked in the photos.

That Orthanc in the back ground is such a beast of an imposing structure , and just when I was about scroll down I realised this flat wide white wing of the monstrously majestic Imperial Shuttle .

I am yet to build my copies of these two but even without that , these are likely In my Top 5 of all time sets , owned or seen .

    happy building @Elune

I know this is probably not even considered a real set or talked about ,but for me this is real gem . It's like a micro scale Hogwarts with the vignettes .Who wouldn't want one . Plus There simply isn't one which attempts to give a complete Hogwarts picture , just segments of it.

Actually makes a charming lil display..

    Just finished last night

Built the new Batboat. Really only got it for the Deathstroke figure but was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually liked the boat. Not very complex but unique and good looking when finished.

@VorpalRyu @Vindic8ed The clear minifig is Atomic Bricks.  I know it isn't legit, but I like the clear bricks so much, that I went for it. The clear section of my monochrome world has grown immensely!

Finally got to finish the Mall. My 3 year old actually helped with the ground floor and the wall panelling.

The Emporium gets it's special corner plus a bit of special extras around it.

No pics, but I'm working on converting various models from LEGO Jurassic World into LEGO Digital Designer files so I can order parts and build them myself... I've started a thread, but must note that nothing in it is to be crossposted to Eurobricks--if they want to see my work they can reinstate my membership.

Taking a break from Anti-matter's Portal Hideout to build Duplo ice creams with my 1 1/2 year old. The robot shark is just fantastic and worth getting the set for by itself. Not as good as my ice cream date though

6 hours and 9 mins into the Technic Mercedes Arocs build.  Just completed bag(s) 2.  Lots of complex stuff done so far, and got:

6 Cylinder engine running off the drivetrain
    4 wheel steering
    Working extending / lowering outriggers
    Independent suspension on two axles
A whole bunch of gears sitting behind the cab in a cluster.  Not sure what they're for yet.

Going to take a while to finish this one!
