I will post up pictures as soon as I get them built. I broke them down on purpose because I never can buy a set and officially own it until I build it lol so yeah both are currently in pieces... :D

Has anyone placed an order for a Pet Shop while the status said shipping in 30 days and actually had it ship yet?

    @up
I did. But I am in Europe and it is out of stock now.

    Lucky... ;p

Venator is on my wish list.

Got back into Lego after many years and missed it.

    Enjoy!

My mum placed my order for my remaining Hulkbuster parts since I was out all day.

I'm hoping they arrive in time for the movie! Now I need a DSLR camera, tripod and a backdrop.

Since 'Castle' seems to be on hiatus - I see it as a stroke of luck that the new 'Pirates' came on board (my wallet begs to differ).   In the last two weeks I have picked up two each of the lesser priced sets... only 70413 escapes me.  However, that is a personal choice as it hasn't yet won me over.  I am more about army building than I am about sets.  When the time comes, and the price is right, I will purchase a 70413 or two.

The lack of epaulets, backpacks, and proper headgear keeps me away from the Chess Set; but time - and a good bargain - will tell.

Just bought #7586 from another parent who was selling the LEGO sets her older kids no longer wanted. Only missing some smaller parts but had a working light brick. Only 10€!

Yes. I bought it the first day of 2x VIP and it arrived 2-3 weeks later.

Finally broke down and got the Fairground Mixer.  Have to figure out where in my Lego City to allow a Fair to be setup.  (Don't want those Carnies mixing freely with the rest of my impressionable Lego Townspeople!  ;)  )

I have finally ordered my Detective's Office after waiting for a 13 day work week to hit my account. I wish that they hadn't made the Kwik-E-Mart available though as I will have to arrange some overtime.

Minifigure parts - getting married later this year and each of the groomsmen are going to have a minifigure badge to pin their buttonholes on. Decided to make it slightly difficult for myself and try to recreate all of them in fleshie Lego form, but I think I'm getting there.

In the deep freeze right now. No buying until my Lego room is done. No basements in my part of the world so this involves purging things and rearranging spare bedrooms for space. Tedious chore but as of Friday I will be on vacation. I should be able to finally get the room done including painting, rehanging shelving and installing a brick storage system and work surfaces.

I had Lego as part of my wedding too. Had the Lego Bride & Groom set on the cake. Then made a Lego stop motion "thank you" video using the Bride & Groom instead of sending cards.

I don't know about the zombies but I saw this t-shirt the other day.

My other half hates zombies so I would probably get in trouble for that, there are going to be a couple of Lego themed bits at our wedding so I'll definitely share pictures on the forum some point after the wedding.

Walking through local TRU and spotted a freshly opened box of Series 12 minifigs marked down to $2.98/pack.  Managed to get 15 of the set with about 5 duplicates. Grabbed the last one off ebay to save me the trouble.

Nothing.  Still waiting patiently for the 2x PS I ordered during double VIP back in March to ship.  Then I can validate getting the Kwi-E-Mart with the newfound VIP points.

@BACbrix - Here's the HH from Amazon Warehouse Deals. Box corner is mangled, seals were open, but the bags are sealed and all there. As are baseplates and instructions.

@grounded Wow awesome thanks so much! I would consider that a pretty good deal. I was expecting worse but that is not bad at all and since I do not care about boxes and only completeness I will make a purchase soon. I realize the condition will vary from set to set but if this is what they would consider bad than I am optimistic. Thanks!

In the second picture, is that a Lego Discount sticker on the side panel?

I ordered the Pet shop on April 9 along with the Perisian Rest and Palace Cinema, all three had the "ship in 30 days" status.  The Perisian Rest and Palace Cinema shipped about with 2-3 weeks. Palace arrived yesterday in fact.

Yesterday my card was charged for the Pet Shop as it's showing in the warehouse now on the order status. Will probably ship in a day or so.

@77ncaachamps - That sticker is a 'Certified by Amazon' or something along those lines.

So, I wasn't going to buy any set before I move into my new house (hence my recent inactivity - I avoid all temptation), but then I saw those to little sets Star Wars on Amazon, and they were on sale and... well... I got the Utapau Troopers (75036) and the AAT Toy (75080). :)

Oh, and The Lego Book and The Lego Play Book as well. But they don't count. They're books.

The other day I ordered #7962 Anakin's and Sebulba's Podracers and #9500 Sith Fury-Class Interceptor.

Yesterday I placed three orders of parts consisting of 2000-2500 parts for £140.

I knew I had better stay away from everything lego if I wasn't going to buy anything. Especially since I've been stressed lately and that tends to make me buy compulsively. Buuuut I got some sets I am very happy about, including Helm's Deep, the whole Prince of Persia series, and many other lovely LOTR/Hobbit, Harry Potter, Atlantis, The Lone Ranger and Indiana Jones sets.

My husband is going to freak out. There is no way I can hide all of that in our tiny apartment. Oh well...

    so much self control :D

Just finished my first lego buying spree, got the detective office (my favorit set now) the Parisian restaurant, the lego ideas birds, the ghostbusters ecto 1 (my 2nd favorit set) 2 small architecture sets and a few small polybags. I didn't plan on buying any more for a while but now the London tower bridge is on sale here for 199 euro, seeing that it will probably be retired soon I am very tempted to buy it,even though I don't even like the set as it does not fit with anything else and is just a display piece. Still every time I reread the reviews of it I just want to have it. Will probably settle for the palace cinema that's also on sale instead,it would fit great with the detective building as its a bit the same style, new York in the early 20th century. Also buying bulk lego from auction sites but I am new at that so its a slow and tedious process.

@Fauch Yeah, self control isn't one of my strengths. ^^; Fortunately, it's Lego I'm passionate about (and other hobbies) and not alcohol or something that could be damaging my health or well being. XD

Just managed to buy #79008 pirate ship ambush for £60 on eBay, a good price I think for a retired set. I also managed to get the good morning bilbo figure for £5, to complete the entire hobbit minidigure collection, absolutely chuffed!

I'm back! Well... Back to buying Lego I mean. I took an extended hiatus while getting ready for baby #2 but made my first purchase tonight after several months.

My purchase: The retired #9494 Anakins Jedi Interceptor

I'm extremely careful with SW purchases as I don't want to get dragged into that theme completely, but I've always wanted this set. I love the Anakin (really Vadar by this point) fig and always thought it was cool that they included builds of the lava droids so that you can reenact that part of the battle.

Still working on a USMC Emblem/seal (EGA) that I am going to sell when finished. It is on 4 of the 48x48 base plates and measures in at 30"x30".

Bought a couple Orient Expedition sets because I've wanted them forever and finally decided to just do it since I found a decent enough price on the Scorpion Palace. Looks like my city is going to diversify!

I have bought a few #70720 when they were on sale at 3.98 CAD. Which lead me to watching a few Ninjago episodes on YouTube, to get an idea of the story, which in turn lead me to buying the first and second seasons in addition to #70502, #70505, #70722 & #70752.

Oh, and then I went to the park with my daughter and saw three boys playing together, one with a red t-shirt, one with a white t-shirt and one with a blue t-shirt and I was like: "Where's Cole?". XD
