having bought the avengers tower, as much as I liked it I couldn't help feeling it was missing something, additional floors as it turns out.
i have seen a few examples on the interweb that show a tower with dozens of floors but I wanted to retain the original model and merely expand a little to keep it in proportion with other super hero buildings like the Daily Bugle, and this is where I ended up.

I think I prefer the smoother form of TLG model.
LEGO Modular Building - LEGO Brand Store (WIP):
Partially completed Spider Tank from Mamora Oshii's Anime "Ghost in the Shell"
(the head is turned about 45degrees off-centre. Otherwise not a bad shot).
For Doctor Who purists, the original arm was reputed to look like an egg beater. So the yellow arm blob is - a Friends egg-beater!
Now that the Series 2 Simpsons minifigs are out, I might have to replace the other arm with Groundkeeper Willie's toilet plunger.
Above model is part of a larger Doctor Who build, which I'll reveal in a week or two.

30" x 30" (4 XL Baseplates) as the canvas size. Using all 2x2 tiles throughout to emphasize the original art's cubist nature. With all the mold marks pointed down, the tiling creates an oddly mesmerizing effect.

Cals' Coffee Shop and an experiment in watermarking. Apologies but I'm trying to get around plagiarism atm.
Thank you very much, it was a fun build, however, @Mrs_Wobblehead did help out with a few girly touches!
Securing Dantisbourne Rouse Abandoned and neglected for many years Dantisbourne Rouse stood on a strategic knoll It also was reputed to stand on a area of great magical importance. Sadly overgrown and in disrepair it had been of interest to King Rufus for many years.
Off to Brick Magic in Charlotte!
Hopefully the display will look like the first photo and not like this. This is what it look like last night at 8:30. It took only about 2 hours to fix since I've had a lot of practice putting it back together! If this does happen, the diorama title will go from "Imperial Victory" to "Rebel Victory". The trench isn't as detailed as I would have liked but ran out of time.
However, after a lengthy creative slump, today I finally managed to create a new MOC: a 2015 BIONICLE villain named Skull Ripper! It even has a flapping wing function!

And chunkiness. It's like a big Tonka toy
A development of a set I designed for Bright Bricks
in total I got through 9 pairs of legs, hairs and heads and 11 Lego torsos and one custom torso to make these, so 48 parts plus a few accessories, I won't run through the cast list as I hope they are obvious (if not I have done a rubbish job).
as for Lola, I have no idea how many parts are in there but it is a lot and while it is not 100% accurate the shape is nice and the scale is a perfect match for the other official vehicles available and I think it stacks up.
i think I will draw the line here though otherwise I will start thinking about the Bus and I really want to start thinking about the House of Mystery I am playing with.
And why no Mac? Or Dethlok?
no Mac or Deathlock yet due to funds and a lack of parts I can find to do the job justice, I am looking so hopefully they come along soon. Also the Sharon Carter at the back needs new legs so I am going to try her out with the CMF grey baseball player legs.
