@Lego_Star - I was so tempted to place an order when I saw that yesterday, but decided to chance it for next time I go to a shop/there's a decent promo poly available.

@Shib - Me too! I was wondering if other colour wishes might also come true. There's azure, yellow, trans blue and not forgetting  @khmellymel 's shout for magenta!

I remember hearing that a load of red ones were made ages ago, but only ever around LEGO HQ - whether or not that's true I couldn't say but it's interesting to consider that it might have been the first produced (potentially as a prototype) but third to hit the market.

The Red upscaled mug has been available from Lego Stores for over 2 months now. They were released alongside blue and trans-purple ones in around the first of March. It isn't something that was exclusive to just Lego HQ.

@Penkid11  Are you in the UK? Red ones weren't listed on S@H during double points mid march. Did you see them in store?

^^^ The red mugs have been available at LLW since March, and are only appearing on S@H and LEGO Stores now. I was told me the MetroCentre LEGO Store staff that they will be in stock there on the 1st of May.

@Shib -  You were right enough @LEGO_Nabii mentioned the red mug on twitter, https://mobile.twitter.com/LEGO_Nabii/status/571247820440776704.
I should imagine he'll want to buy a red one now too. ;)

Thankyou @Huw for the lovely "site updates" feed on the main page that alerted us to them yesterday.

Lastly, thanks to an image that just popped into my head earlier, I vote brickset upscaled mug picnic! Hmmm, all that typing has made me thirsty, no prizes for guessing what I'm off to do next. ;)

I'm in the US. I'm honestly not sure when they were listed, but I remember them being available at the local Lego Store before the Double VIP promo began.

Those are really cute! My lego status is that I've been amusing myself both working out a mosaic and trying to find female minifigures for my modular town. I might as well just cobble together one that looks like me.

After a flood prompted us to redo our basement (no damage to my LEGO, fortunately) I was able to get put together this new workstation for storage, building and display. It's like a little paradise!

After Watching Avengers Age of Ultron I just had to build my Hulk Buster.
A lovely little build. Although there are a couple of mods that would make it even better.
Golden armour curves on the fore arms, and some red curves can be added to the side of the body over the hip region, to hide the joints.

I saw it on Thusday and it was great! As some people have said: the magic of the first one was hard to match but it was very close. The action is much better and it's not cliche.

@Venunder Just curious, have you seen my newly posted Hulkbuster MOC?

^ very good MOC using the Mixel ball joints.
I was thinking of modding mine with just a few bricks and clips. No more than 20 pieces.

Thanks, those reduced Chima Legend Beasts I got earlier this year were very useful since they had plenty of them.

That's cool, my goal was to go for a movie accurate model.

It just suddenly struck me earlier - Lego Digital Designer (LDD) must be at least ten years old now! I must have missed the fireworks and cake...

As I was organizing my storage area, I looked inside my Blue Cargo train box and found a shirt that my youngest must have placed inside without me knowing. When I took it out it smelled like plastic Lego goodness. Of course I had to wear it. Now, I must place some other shirts inside some of my children's My Little Pony sets and see if I can strike gold :)

Nice. The bottom Groomsman reminds me of the South Park episode with Russell Crowe. "Making Music, Writing Songs, and Fighting 'Round the World!"

I found this weird pick-a-brick wall for 'blox' branded building blocks in my nearest Wilko store here in the UK. Has anyone else seen these?

@Adzbadboy lets be fair to Wilko's pricing structure for a moment: £2 gets you a tanker truck, £3 gets you a cup and £7 gets you a fighter jet. Still, wtf is this nonsense? "Compatable with leading brands", tempted to get some and review from that statement alone...

My Lego status right this moment, at time of typing, would be 'surprised by how few people there are browsing bricksetforum, as may4th promo is underway...'. I kinda expected to see various comments about how much stuff people were(n't) buying, and so forth.

Me? I liked the promo (being an OT fan), so bunged a few battle packs and an overpriced t-16 and micro fighter in the basket (but these specifics would be a discussion for another thread).

Just saved myself £152 today as I was hoping to pick up the Slave One at 10% off! How disappointed I was to find it wasn't part of the promotion! ah well. money saved I guess
  • FauchFauch Member Posts: 2,712
meh, 10% off overpriced star wars sets still feels like a bad deal. they must be like 15 cents per piece here, in France.

Build battle-troop carrier and my 5 year old build general grievous' wheel bike while listening to the SW soundtrack. We watched ep 6 yesterday (first time for my son) and he especially liked the ewok-tunes.
Had lightsaber ice-creams for dessert, a lovely May the 4th!

Went to my local Lego store on Saturday to see what they had to offer. Of course they didn't have the Mos Eisley Cantina set that I wanted, so I went home without Lego in hand. Ah well, I placed an order as soon as I got home and am currently waiting my shipment. Twiddle Twiddle.

my stores have almost nothing as usual. well, except for friends, city, and star wars, other themes have only a couple sets on sales at best. no wonder they are the best selling themes, if they are the only ones you can find.

I went onto Hobbycraft on the way home, *just* to buy some stuff to make a nice wedding card for my friend, ended up buying some more clear resealable bead bags for my never ending sorting project and two brick-patterned plastic storage boxes too!
Only a fiver each and they can replace some of my current cardboard boxes :)

Sort of Lego-related: I've also spent the evening experimenting with decoupage after that Hobbycraft trip. I managed to pick up a few deep photo frames cheap a while back with a view to displaying some minifigs and am intending to customise the frames to match the content. After this initial experiment I realise it's messy and sticky (unless I'm just not doing it right yet!) but good fun and oddly therapeutic. Looking forward to fi

Sold a prized fig from the collection for $200 and another fig pending for $400. *sigh* I got separation anxiety already.

Mother's Day in Belgium and woke up to a lovely card and the two dol guldur sets, that's better than a kitchen appliance and flowers in my opinion.

Boys (well, husband and son) are now mixing up pancake dough, curious how that's going to end!

Contemplating starting on a modern, modular bank.  Looking at 2 #3661 and wondering if it is worth breaking them open to give me a start on the ground floor.

While building the Cantina set the other evening with my 8 year old daughter she was putting the figures together and asked who Han Solo was. It dawned on me that my two daughters have yet to watch the movies. In anticipation of this I had bought the bluray collection. The question is which order should we watch them in ? I have fought with this answer for awhile now. I see the pros and cons of each. Any advice would be welcomed.
