LDC in Schaumburg IL has the new Elves #30259 Azari's Magic Fire polybag that is the promo through LEGO right now if you buy a set.
At LDC though it is 5 dollars for the Elves bag.

Also have the the Seasonal Creator Thanksgiving Turkey #40091 and
Creator Reindeer #40092 (sorry forgot to look at the price on the creator sets)

madforLEGO I got one of the #30259 Azari's Magic Fire polybags there but it actually rang up at $4, minus 5% instantly with the VIP card.

Has anyone seen the micro-scale Quinjet from the upcoming Avengers collection?  My Helicarrier needs some traffic on the flight deck...

    It's set #30304.

    Thanks!

FWIW, with the 20% off City at Target this week, 30313 is ringing up at $2.79. The "seasonal" section polys never seem to make it to clearance near me, so, sure I'll take it for 70 cents less.

I was definitely out and about today when going to a further out TRU for the $2.50 series 13 CMFs. Saw the following:

    Marshalls - Friends series 5 animals $2.00

    Five Below - #30116 and #30112 $5

Kmart - #30302 $3.99 and #30228 / #30187 for $3.49 plus Series 2 Mixels for $4.99. They had plenty of all of these items.

Just curious. Where is the five below located with these? It seems different locations sometimes do not get the same products depending on region of US

Not counting on any clearance from Target...went to three stores and they had all their holiday polybags cleared out.
  • Ladder19JTKLadder19JTK Member Posts: 222
Target Easter poly's are now 50% off if you're lucky enough to find any!

Yeah, sold out near me before Easter. Not surprising though.

Meijer had 4 polys and they should be on clearance starting today.
  • Ladder19JTKLadder19JTK Member Posts: 222
    ^ which did they have?

I think the polybag hogs got to whatever the first 1 was in the easter section(I think it was chima or something) but there still was some friends mini-golfs so I got 3. One will be assembled, one will most likely be part, the third is for my stockpile. That'll make 5 polys, 1 tiger cub, and a red ninjago plane.

I found a single Lego friends poly in clearance. On a side note I've noticed the polybags by the checkouts are disappearing. Some Targets haven't had any for awhile. Are they phasing these out?
  • goshe7goshe7 Member Posts: 515
I think only Tiger and Garbage Truck went on clearance.  Friends weren't scanning at 50% off.  You could probably take them up to customer service and haggle for the discount if you are so inclined as the generic 50% off signs are hanging around them.

Much like Target, the Meijer polybag stock seems to have been decently depleted before Easter.  Not sure the remainders will hang around for 75% off clearance.

At Meijer they have placed Mixels at the checkout lanes and clearanced the polybags that previously resided there.  Wonder if Target is planning on a similar transition in stock at the checkout lane.

In my local Targets in southern NJ, the planograms in the Target checkout lanes have all changed.

Now there's a shortened "peg hook area", a knee-height shelf, and boxed snacks etc underneath.

The remaining product in the lanes is almost all consumable, whether it be food or lip balms or batteries.

I've noticed the checkout polys gone in most of the Targets in my area.  Definitely not just selling out.  Just wiped clean all of a sudden in a few.
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,787
Yeah, the Targets by me are doing the same thing and as a result it seems the LEGO polys are now lacking. I hope this does not mean they are moving away from those and as a result LEGO polys either get really hard to find when released or LEGO stops doing them again.
  • CircleKCircleK Member Posts: 1,055
Noticed something new at my local Meijer tonight as well. The checkout lane hooks typically reserved for polys now contain Mixels. I really hope this isn't a permanent change.
  • teal93mr2teal93mr2 Member Posts: 1,009
Honestly the selection of the checkout polys at Target has not been great the last couple of years, compared to what it once was.  Very stale and slow moving, and not a lot of consistency per location.  The seasonal polys are the most attractive for me.  I still don't want the checkouts to completely go away, but not a huge loss IMO.
  • LegoTTLegoTT Member Posts: 487
Yeah, I'd prefer them to be on end caps of aisles elsewhere. Hopefully not going away permanently.

You know what, I agree. If they ditch polys at the register I am okay as long as the seasonal ones stay.

I've noticed this at one target. They also converted one lane of what would usually be 2 checkout registers to three "Customer Service, Returns, & Purchase" counters while eliminating their old customer service counter.

Bumping this thread. Anyone seen Joker's bumper car, or Electro in their local stores?
  • pansyppansyp Member Posts: 93
Not yet. Checked 1 Target and Fred Meyer this AM. Still nothing. Fred Meyer still has Swamp Copters at checkout.

TRU may be getting the Electro poly soon. There is a hold date in the system for it, possibly for a promotion.

Just a heads up, DPCI 204-00-0291 (suggested on BrickFan) doesn't necessarily guarantee it'll be the Go-Kart. Though Fyndly was showing a pretty decent number available at the San Mateo/Foster City (CA) store, they were all old Chima polys.

They also had Simpsons Series 2 minifigs on the floor earlier this week, but I got shut down at checkout when I tried to buy a few. Hey, had to try.
