#79016 Attack on Lake Town .... $20.98
Where did you find these? Always curious about possible pricing errors. :)
7281: T-Junction & Curved Road Plates $4.98
79014: Dol Guldur Battle $20.98
If you have an iPhone the Walmart app will show you clearance prices and stock. It's actually fairly accurate from my experience. Just don't call the store. I did that yesterday and was told that it was not a stocked item.
Target
60060: Auto Transporter $20.98
70164: Hurricane Heist $34.98
Wal-Mart
70012: Razar's CHI Raider $11.00
42030: Volvo L350F Wheel Loader $184.00
The box for 42030 is beat up pretty bad but it's still sealed! I couldn't say no to the price. And when I scanned the price for 70012, I was shocked!
Cheers from Claremore, OK!

The aftermarket price haven't even budged 7 years later, lol.
Here's what I do: use the Walmart app on iPhone and search for a set I'm interested in (and have heard people find on clearance in stores). On the Item Details page for that item, click the "Store Availability" arrow to get a list of nearby stores which have the item in stock. It should also show you the price for each store. It can vary. Click the 'Place Order & Pick Up Today" button and proceed with buying the item. You'll then get notification when the item is ready for you to pick up in that store. It should have charged you the price listed in the mobile app for that specific store. As if you went into the store and bought it at their clearance price.
Now, what I have experienced multiple times is that the item you ordered may not actually be in stock, or they can't find it (some rat may have hidden it in the towels section). They will then either cancel the order, or provide you with a "substitute". You don't know what the substitute is until you get there. Sometimes it's a good substitute, and sometimes not.
Today for example (my brag for this thread), I went to pickup a $35 Milano Spaceship (#76021, MSRP $75) that I ordered through the mobile app. They had a Hulk Lab Smash (#76018, MSRP $50) waiting for me. I mentioned that wasn't what I ordered and they let me go check the shelves for the Milano. None were found, but they had the Quinjet City Chase (#76032, MSRP $80). They let me use that as a substitute with Manager approval/override.
Another Wal-Mart had something similar happen. Two different visits. First, they had a lone B-Wing sitting in the clearance section. Rang up at $20 (MSRP $50). The three figures alone usually go for more than that on eBay. Second visit, Spinlyn's Cavern was tagged as $20 (half off), but rang up at $11. Again, I don't particularly need it, but at that price for 400 pieces I was okay with it.
Within a few months, they were already on 15%/30% clearance at Target.
On first inspection it seems complete and the only things missing so far are the plastic liner tray from the box & the software CD rom, all the motors, sensors & RCX brick are there.
It will probably cost me more in postage replacing the parts from Bricklink that the total cost of the missing bits
Yes they do. Not a lot though.
The set is #6991 crossing my fingers that the deal goes down. ;)
