Another Hoth Echo Base? Please say it isn't so. I hope that actually means Cloud City...

Perhaps Echo Base is a detailed version like Ewok Village? I'm also kind of wondering how the Star Wars lineup will shift focus with Episode 7

Why must they do this to us. What have we done to deserve another echo base

LEGO Exclusive sets I'm looking forward to in 2015:
    -10246 Detective's Office***
    -76042 Avenger's Helicarrier**
    -71016 Simpson's Kwik-E-Mart**
    -10247 Fairground Ferris Wheel*
    -10249 Winter Village Toy Shop*

    ***Defiantly purchasing
**Yeah! Waiting for designer videos and official pictures before final judgement.
    *Maybe.

LEGO promotional sets I'm looking forward to in 2015:
    -Flower Cart
    -Winter Soldier
    -VIP Retro Minifigure Set
    -Christmas Set (1 of 2)
    -Christmas Set (2 of 2)

-I'm surprised that the UCS TIE Fighter will be available in May rather than a movie tie in late 2015.
-Finally I can see if I can get into LEGO Ninjago, I wonder how 70751 Ninjago Temple will turn out as a D2C set. Probably something like Arkham Asylum Breakout with detailed architecture and a fully furnished interior. Which could indicate that the Arkham Asylum is retiring in 2015...
-The 10248 Ferrari F40 sounds cool, will it be like Volkswagen Camper Van, MINI Cooper or the old Lamborghini and Ferrari's?
-The 10249 Winter Village Toy Shop may be re-designed because the small micro builds or toys and the toys shops may sell well to the consumers.

    2016 and beyond Wishlist:
    -Master Builder’s Submarine
    -LEGO Friends Dolls House
    -UCS Millennium Falcon
    -Large-Scale Lamborghini
    -Fairground Roller Coaster
    -Winter Village Gingerbread House
    -LEGO Brand Store Modular Building

Perhaps it's a UCS version, something like this.... :-)

^perhaps its code for another hoth vehicle ;-)

This is a mixed bag for me. I cannot wait for the Helicarrier and am delighted to see it is only a couple of months away. I am also looking forward to the UCS TIE Fighter and Kwik-E-Mart so will definetely pick those up when they arrive. Admiral Yularen seems like a strange choice for an exclusive, presumably it will be an Episode IV version which would be very welcome.

However, the Winter Toy Shop would be a disappointment. The Winter Village sets have not slipped up much in the past, so to see them perhaps running out of ideas is a real shame.

For Hoth Echo Base I will take anything, but if it were this ^ I would probably need to sit down in my excitement! The AT-AT is just begging to be built in minifigure scale so that would be fantastic.

No matter what though, Hoth equals good as far as I am concerned.

That would be cool as a set.

I thought that the UCS TIE Fighter is not coming in May the 4th.

I'll be really disappointed if TLG are out of ideas on the winter village, there's so much other stuff they could do that you'd find in traditional Christmas village models. I hope that this is just a case of someone mishearing something etc.

I am pretty sure this list isn't 100% accurate. I really doubt we will be getting another Hoth Echo Base. I'm in with what cavegod said about it being code for another Hoth vehicle, that is what makes sense to me. As far as the Santa's Workshop goes i also think that it is just a placeholder until they actually figure out what their plans are for Winter 2015.

LEGO locks sets in a year in advance. There is no need for placeholders. Also, don't see why it's surprising that they would creat a Hoth base large set in the vein of the Ewok Village.
  • AanchirAanchir Member Posts: 3,037
Hooray! Finally a Ninjago D2C set! Also excited to find out what's in the BIONICLE polybag, and what the exclusive Ninjago Minifigures will be like.
  • tamamahmtamamahm Member Posts: 1,987
Well, last year was a workshop... Perhaps the toy shop is not a redo of the original toy shop, but is the expansion to the workshop. There were people upset that the original structure was small. Maybe this was the reason why? Perhaps the winter village line was finished the year before and right now the are focused on a winter line focused on what one would find at the North Pole?

I am not sure I buy the above, but I sure would not want to see a redo of the original toy shop when there are so many other areas they could have done.
    I guess time will tell.

Beyond that, the only other items I have personal interest in seeing.

    Ninjago Temple
    Ferris wheel

    Winter Polys
    Elves fire

Thanks for posting. This list was very helpful.

I knew a Winter Soldier polybag would appear at some point. I wonder if it will look anything like the knock-off's that have been produced in the interim.

Wonder what will happen to the value of the original WV Toyshop with a re-release

Probably nothing, unless it is an exact copy. Which is unlikely.
  • PaperballparkPaperballpark Member Posts: 4,268
Well it'll have been 6 years since the last WV toy shop, which won't be owned by as many people as own the current ones, given that it was the first to be released.

I will be super disappointed if it is indeed a Winter Village Toy Shop, even if they make it different.

I can easily see an Ewok Village scale Echo Base coming out. Then maybe the next year a similar scale Cloud City as Ewok Village retires.

I could make that same argument with the modular line, though, and look at how many repeats there are.

I really do not hope they went for the lame idea of a repeat, because there are far too many possible sets the could do. It is why a Santa toy shop I could see, since it is a very different concept than a repeat WV shop selling toy merchandise... especially if the Santa Toyshop somehow joins to the workshop.

Plus, if we look back far enough, the item that people are missing is the holiday train, which was not part of the winter line, but that many really missed out on.

As long as the UCS Echo Base FINALLY has the shield generator, we're all good :)

Oh, man. If we're two months away from the Helicarrier, we're bound to see it soon, right?

I'm interested in seeing this Ferris Wheel panning out. If indeed TLG continues down this path adding to the Mixer, it will prove to myself that it was one of the best purchases of '14. Next to my SES in box of course....

    Whoa! Ferarri F40.
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
^^ Yea can't wait to see what the F40 looks like. After seeing the Speed Champions line and realizing there was no full size model, I was super disappointed. So hopefully this F40 makes up for it and is in the same scale size as the other Ferraris & Lambos.

No mention of DC Jokerland. It looks like the list is incomplete.

I hadn't read anything about that; sounds awesome. As for another Toy Shop, I'd be happy to have them release one of those. I just got into the Winter Sets this year, and I'm sorry to have missed out on so many already. The price point for Santa's workshop was just right for me, and I hope the others hit that same general price going forward.

@doriansdad‌ - I get the impression that set is rumoured for standard release, whereas this list only concerns exclusives.

Free Flower Cart now appearing, a couple of days early, in carts >$75.

Interesting that no Creator train is listed. If it is indeed the case that one isn't being released next year, then all I can say is that the Exclusives are getting out of hand.
  • 3stackshs3stackshs Member Posts: 299
Any guess on when we might start seeing pictures of the ferris wheel or the kwik e mart? Those are the two I am most interested in this year. I was hoping they would show up in the Toy Fair photos.

^maybe we should start a new thread and post every minute until there are pictures of the kwikemart.

Yes and we had to sacrifice @Mccutchen at the alter before the pictures came to fruition the next day as the prophecy foretold. So the question is, who is it this time?

^ I believe it was June 1st. But don't quote me.
