No big whoop, but you also get a free Hobbit poster with purchase of a Hobbit set.

Which country? It's not showing for [email protected] US.
USA. Was automatically added to orders on Hobbit sets. Maybe there was such a rush that they are out! Ha ha...
Finally got it to work. Wouldn't stack with 2 other promos. Just put in a separate order and it showed up. Thanks @ecmo47

I bought a hobbit set in October for Double Points and received the Hobbit poster then too.

I didn't bother attempting to order anything from [email protected] because of the lackluster deals. If they had triple points again I'd buy Simpson's House. But I guess I'll wait until Double points next year or something...

Noticed that the Calendar was not added to my cart, is that a store only deal?

Also is it me or are the deals getting worse year to year, I thought last year was bad compared to 2012, but this year WoW just getting rid of the Galaxy Squad stuff that other store for the most part have not had on inventory for 6+ months at least.

Well there is a first time for everything. Interesting to see LEGO discount an exclusive in the US

Maybe just maybe there is new hope, when May 4th rolls around, we might see a discount on the X-wing here.

Kingdoms Joust isn't tagged as an exclusive at [email protected], only as a "hard to find."

I'm sure they are happy to break their own rules if they need to do so in order to clear out a dog seller.

If you recall, they were selling the Joust at 20% off TWO black Friday's ago. and they still have them...

Does anyone know if the Jor-El deal is in store as well? I'm debating ordering a Joust and keychain online vs in store where I could also get a free calendar...
  • JBricks27JBricks27 Member Posts: 678
The Jor el and shredder promos are only online

IMO the tags on the site do not really matter. 'Exclusive' is also a bit subjective IMO.
In any case, if you look up 'exclusives' on the [email protected] site you will see the Joust set in there

It isn't, but it certainly was.

I view this as a significant event at the least, and the dawn of a bright new day at best.

Well I think no one should get their hopes up. I'm pretty sure no other retailers in the US have these online right now, which may be why they can be put on sale.

These should go well with the double VIP points on Sunday.
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,760
    Yeah Double points on 12/14/14
  • luckie_reubsluckie_reubs Member Posts: 299
Wasn't Rescue Reinforcements an exclusive set? Like maybe to TRU or Walmart? I feel like it was; that's a cool set, though. I wish it was a two-in-one like the Flusher, but maybe that's asking too much.
  • NeilJamNeilJam Member Posts: 272
Yes, Rescue Reinforcements is a TRU exclusive.

I just ordered two of those sets. Will CS refund me the difference or will I have to reorder and return the first order?
  • sklambsklamb Member Posts: 515
I'd rather be able to get double points on my January 1 orders...not much left of the current sets that I want to buy.
  • LegoKipLegoKip Member Posts: 259
@pvancil27‌ Call CS and explain. I've found TLG staff to be accommodating and willing to make adjustments to prices/points as long as the request is reasonable.

Told me they wouldnt do an adjustment nor would they add VIP points to make up the difference. Said I'd have to return them and pay the return shipping myself which would eat about 20 of the 30$ difference. Sucks, I've always heard how accommodating their CS is and I get told no first time I ask. Oh well.

Boo. That sucks. Could you just refuse delivery and not open the package?
  • LegoKipLegoKip Member Posts: 259
@pvancil27‌ I'm sorry to hear it and a little surprised. You could try calling again and asking for a supervisor.
Are you near a Lego store? That's another avenue for returns/price adjustments.

Already signed for it. At the end of the day its only 27 bucks (was the starhopper and jedi cruiser) but sucks to miss the discount by three days.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Arctic Supply plane but there are too many new sets coming out.
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,760
Simpsons and Series 12 is on sale as well both for 2.98 USD per pack.
Maybe LEGO will now start to rethink their stance on 3.99 USD for a pack of CMF?

Cargo heliplane is an interesting one. Not sure if those will be sold out soon like the rest of the cargo line.
Almost want to pick up a TS at that price too.
  • BrickarmorBrickarmor Member Posts: 1,258
I'll get a TS if it lingers until Jan 5th.

Much disappoint on sales this year. Sad to see that the days of 2010/11 boxing day clearance are gone.
