fyi, if you order and get an email stating that Lego doesn't ship to a PO box you can ignore it. It's an error.

    Email below-

    Dear NAME,

    Order Number: YXXXXXXXX

Thanks for ordering the LEGO® 21110 Research Institute from the LEGO Shop.

This is a really popular set. We want every LEGO builder to have a fair chance of getting it, so we limit how many of this set can be bought per household.

Since your request exceeded this limit, we’ve cancelled the item(s) from your order.
These limits can be changed or removed so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on the website over the next few months.

Please get in touch if there is anything we can help with.

    Kind regards,

    LEGO Service

PS. If you need to contact us, please call us on the phone number above. Don’t reply to this email because your message won’t be accepted by our system.

I received this email before I even had received my order confirmation email, after trying to order one today. My wife had picked up an RI in-store about two weeks ago with my ID number, and I had placed an order for two RIs back when they initially listed them back in the summer the day the Exosuits launched, but it wasn't as though I had purchased dozens of these.

The e-mail is coming out in error, I got that as well and they said it's an error and my order is fine.

Says out of stock. Already? Expected ship date Dec 21. I don't mind, I found one in store a couple weeks ago, but was thinking about picking up a spare..

Better 'out of stock, expected ship date...', than 'temporarily out of stock', or 'sold out'.

My son's elf broke open one of these sets and built it last night. It's a really cute build. I love the scenes. I have complaints about the minifigs but that's for another thread.

Pre-order on Target.com. Online only, ships 1-1-15, appears to be no limit?!?!? http://www.target.com/p/lego-ideas-research-insititute-21110/-/A-16774038#prodSlot=medium_1_3&term=lego

And just like that the link went dead. Something to keep an eye on, though...
