I just want the Super Heroes sets to arrive in time. The Metrocentre LEGO Store staff said they would put the new sets out when they got them, but they had no idea when that would be.
As long as a parent can buy that toy, at an inflated price or otherwise, they would be happy.
In the (predominantly) girls market which Lego have just got a foothold in with friends they don't want to give a bad experience. For a patent who's not accustomed to LEGO they already think its expensive at RRP. If they've paid 3xRRP on eBay they'll think LEGO is a big waste of money and turn them off. They'll tell their friends and Facebook and you know what its a criticism of LEGO that has legs. They had the toy of last year, they'll almost certainly have the toy of next year. And the frozen sets will be what all the girls want for their birthdays etc etc. They won't lose a single sale.
If LEGO had planned to put the Frozen set out in November I think they would have been able to satisfy demand even if some were bought up by resellers, thus preserving their reputation and pleasing a lot of parents and children this Christmas.
Target DCPI codes below - which you can bring with you to a Target and have the customer service person check their inventory:
#41062 Elsa's Sparkling Ice Castle - 086-14-2474
#41063 Ariel's Undersea Palace - 086-14-2487
Thank you SO much for those DPCIs!
I called the Lego store in NC, and they said they didn't have them. I tried calling TRU customer service to have them check the country for a store that had them, and it wouldn't let the guy do the search. So where those on ebay came from is still unknown.
One thing about what Captain Rex said though.....I want to get this for my daughter for Christmas very, VERY badly....but I am not paying some scumbag $120. I wouldn't mind a slight markup, but a $60 to $80 dollar markup is criminal. I'm sure they'll sell to someone though, which is what keeps the scalpers going.
A) They managed to do a limited online run of Minecraft, but could not manage a limited run of one set that would be the most wanted sets for girls.
B) There is no way they could meet demand for both Minecraft and Frozen even for an online only release in November and there would been some really ticked parents that the set was not available.
I have also been trying to find the set, but I think my chance is Nil until January.

This was a brand new Target and the in store scanner did not have number buttons s to enter the DCPI. Had to find an associate to locate them for me.
Already gone apparently. I want one of these, but I think I'll wait awhile. I'd rather see them get into the hands of children who can't wait for it first. Good luck to all of you parents hunting for one before Christmas!
Oh, sorry, I see it's 3300003. Got it.
I would say that a #3300003 plus cash vs a very reasonable price.. I would pick the latter. :-)

Does anyone know the DCPI for the Sleeping Beauty set? Its the only one I haven't seen posted anywhere.
Off topic, but has anyone else noticed that on Target.com, under the product details for Lego sets, it says "No assembly required?" Thought that was kinda funny.
