Thanks for the feedback guys, I didn't expect over 30 likes (including other sites) for this build. For those of you who wanted a further look at the easel from my 'A Piece of Art' MOC, here you go:

"The Court Jester" with Danny Kaye, anyone? Speaking of which, someone needs to make a couple of MOCs/vigs from that...

Heh, I'm actually working on a build from a 1950s movie right now. I haven't seen/heard of The Court Jester before, but it seems like my kind of movie so you may see a build from it. :)

Finally, I managed to build this famous scene:
    Archangel Michael slaying a demon.

    Inspiration taken from this.
From now on, I post pics here from my Flickr account. So for more views, just click on the image.

Time to put to shame all my previous builds (I'm still unsure why the hell I uploaded this :)) )

Is this for the "Battle For the Gold Mask" contest? Deadline's coming up very soon; hope you get finished in time! There have been lots of amazing entries to that contest!

I haven't managed to put together an entry for that contest, in part because I've been working so hard on BIONICLE articles and set reviews for The New Elementary. But I did put together this MOC from three of the sets I'm reviewing:

@Aanchir Yeah it is, I should finish it by next Friday. Really I would love the prizes but your right their are some amazing builds hopefully mine will live up to them or will fail. Either way I'd like to enter as an excuse to build something new and fresh.

Agreed! I haven't built nearly as many new creations this year as I'd like. Sometimes a contest can be a great opportunity to change that and really flex your creative muscles!

I do wonder how the other gold BIONICLE masks will be distributed. More building contests with different themes could be fun, but it would be very neat if some were distributed through other types of contests, like art contests, story contests, or costume contests.

I would like this to be for the Brickset Festive Building Competition. However, I'm unable to make a Flickr account. Is there any way I can enter from here?

This is a small vignette scene. A girl sits inside by the fireplace and Christmas tree, while a boy plays outside and tries to make a snowman. It includes 187 pieces. As the rules state, it only includes pieces from sets 40106 and 40107.

One of these days you're going to make a vignette that's not impressive... just maybe... :P

Needs a few tweaks, but finally "finished" a modular Gotham PD station for a layout next month. Need to dig out bats and my Jim Gordon figure.
