    I am trawling through the messages looking for wanted lists right now and will then be sending the list off to be sorted by @rancorbait. He is sending the North American participant list to me for random assignment so we can both take part as well and not know who we are getting!

    We could always provide a tracking number? Or would that be logistcally difficult....we would have to email them the number and that might defeat the 'secret' part of it

    You could just give the number to @CapnRex101 or myself, and we would pass it on to the recipient.

    So we are now closed in the UK with a grand total of 26 participants!

    I will make the draw tomorrow morning and assignments will be going out after that. If you have not received instructions by Sunday, contact me by way of a reminder :o)

    @theLEGOman - Yeah, I'm up ;o)

    @theLEGOman - Yeah, I'm up ;o)

    Nice, get twiddling those fingers, and we can find out who we are buying for, research to be done, there is. ;).

    So does @rancorbait become one's point of contact if there are any questions for us UK people and vice versa?

    Everyone in North America should now have received their assignments. Please acknowledge receipt so I know everybody knows what to do next and best of luck with the hunt for the perfect gift!

    @plasmodium - Sorry, I should have mentioned that really, you are correct.

    @margot Nice try :-)) @littletoki got me last year, her wrapping was fabulous to say the least. :-))
    The person getting @Thanos75‌ as their SS will be extremely lucky, he can buy quite a bit with 20$.

    Btw how strict are we with the 20$ budget?

    Not strict at all... Obviously no one should spend over their means. But I remember some of last year's gifts! :-)

    ^Oooh. Something big? For me? Really, you shouldn't have ;-)

    I don't know the size or weight of what you're sending, but a good alternative to Royal Mail is http://www.collectplus.co.uk/. Up to 2kg at size of 60x50x50cm for £4.89, tracked and insured up to £50

    I've used them for many trades on here and sales elsewhere. No problems so far.

    After...

    ...Stuffing a few minifigures (some of which were not on my person's wish list) into a ziploc bag...

    ...Cramming the ziploc bag full of minifigures and accessories into a plain bubble mailer...

    ...Marking my full name and address on the sent from label...

    ...Posting it several weeks ago without a thought of them saving it for Christmas...

    ...and reading all the artful, crafty, and painstaking ways some people are going to wrap and secretively send their packages....

    ...I have decided that I am the Grinch.

    Apparently it holds true too. I saw this thread when it was first posted and was most eager to participate. Forgot to write rancorbait at the time and a very busy month of work has kept me void of any Brickset visits (until now). Shame I missed the deadline, my grinch reputation lives on.

    To those that are able to participate, enjoy... it's a very exciting and heart-warming experience, one that is reflective of the fantastic community here on Brickset.
