Has anyone tried building with LEGO the Sites to See Series by nanoblock?

  My wife has a bunch of the animal sets, I have built the Taj Mahal and small Neuschwanstein Castle.
  
  I have been thinking of building one of the animals out of Lego, one problem though is the ratios look to be different. The standard nanoblock element hight looks to be in between a plate and brick from what I can see. Anything you copy will most likley look squashed or stretched depending on if you use plates or bricks.
  
  I haven't done any actual mesurments though, so it may not be too bad.
  
  I would be interested in seeing some pictures if you do build something.

  I built a guitar based on a nanoblocks set - the scale seemed about right using bricks in place of the nano plates, although it probably doesn't harm it being a bit longer.
  
  It's about the right size for a five year old to air guitar with!

  Hubby measured the height of both kinds of one by ones, and found that that if you use two LEGO plates for every nanoblock, the height will be close to the nanoblock scale. You can also use half a block of Lego to make the height close to scale. So for two nanoblocks, you could use one LEGO block and the scale would probably okay. These are rough measurements.

  Nanoblock "bricks" are actually proportionally identical to Lego plates at 25% the size. A 2x4 Nanoblock brick is equal to a 1x2 Lego plate.

  ^I've built quite a few nanoblock sets, and never noticed. Interesting.
  I think the quality is very good, although it's certainly a different building experience than LEGO. But taking them apart is not easy! Fingers too big, bricks too small.

  Maybe Modulex would be a better fit than LEGO?

  It may be, but Modulex is too small for me to play with and too expensive to acquire a decent sized stash.
