orange bricks (UK)

it seems that orange bricks are hard to find? (in the UK)
the "pick a brick" section on lego website has some orange bricks but not all.
went into lego shop and their orange selection was even more sparse.

i'm trying to source these parts (see attached image), to build a pumpkin.

is there a one stop shop to get all of these, or will i end up having to buy bits from various places?

    The 2x8 will be a problem, it's not been in a set for about ten years.

    i can find the 2x8 on ebay, which solves that problem.
    what are the other parts on the second row called (14x and 6x) ?

    All of the parts are available from Lego direct using the Replacement Parts section of the website, with the exception of the 2x8 as @CCC has pointed out already. Most of the bricks would likely be cheaper sourcing on bricklink, but if you have to make multiple orders to get bricks from different sellers the postage soon starts to mount up, and at least you're guaranteeing brand new parts with a good colour match if bought from Lego.

    In a valiant attempt to avoid the real work that I should be doing today, I went on to the replacement parts section of Lego and worked it out for you. All the parts come to £18.99 - without the 2x8's. I'm not sure of your build instructions/plan, but of course the 2x8's could be switched out for more 2x4 bricks.

    The replacement parts service have a flat rate of £2 shipping in the UK.

    that's great... now i just need to work out the element or design number of each part so i can use the bricks and pieces order page

    excellent.... i'll check and see if i can get away with using multiple 2x4's.
    if not i'll get them on ebay.

    I'd advise buying all parts new if you can. If you buy used on ebay, you will notice the scratches on the old parts, and possibly a slightly different coloured orange.

    PS. A real pumpkin is considerably cheaper :-)

    If you're building #3731 there is a seller in Hungary with a brand new sealed poly. By the time you've factored in postage it looks like it'll be about £23 all in, so similar to sourcing the parts elsewhere.

    ^ That is an alternate build for #3731. You could buy both for about £32 inc delivery and probably find someone to buy the spare off you for £16. - Hell I might!

    is it? as 3731 looks like a flat design, whereas the one i linked to is 3 dimensional.

    It looks like all except one of the 2x8s can be replaced with two 2x4s, though replacing the one above the mouth may make that area somewhat fragile. The one that can't be replaced, which goes across the top and is supported at either end by 2x3 inverted slopes, looks to be inside and could be any color.

    I'm surprised at how even the most basic bricks and beams are being ignored in certain colours. Orange is a widely used colour in real buildings, so why make it a rare colour in Lego? Closest to terracotta, we have.
