Elves' Workshop

I am hoping to buy Santa's Workshop when the Elves' Workshop is released on 15th October (I'm based in the UK). My VIP account has £10 worth of points on it. That would mean that if I use the points the price of the Santa's Workshop would be £49.99. As Elves' Workshop is only available for purchases over £50 would I have to buy something else to make the price go over £50?

No...at least in my experience in the USA. If I happen to have $100 in VIP points and purchased a $100 set, I would get free shipping (since it's over $75) and the free Elves Workshop (since the item I ordered was over $99). So if your total purchase (with or without VIP points ) is over 50 pounds, then you should be good...

But won't we still be getting double VIP points until the end of October in the UK as well? In which case this is the worst time to cash in your points.

That's a very good point Briking. I didn't think about that. Hold all points until November because you only get points on the "after discount" price you pay, not the total price. So October, as Briking said, is the worst time to use points.
