This was listed on another site but buying the T1 Camper Van added last year's Mini T1 Camper and Free Classic Spaceman and Free Worriz Polybag starting this afternoon. Unadvertised special or glitch, this is a good deal.

    I tried it and everything added except for the spaceman.

    I tried it, no Spaceman. Logged into my VIP account, and still no Spaceman, but a message at the top that the Spaceman had been added, and that there were 4 items in my cart.

    So, I tried my DH's account and there is the Spaceman. (I already did an order this month and received a Spaceman.)

    Maybe the one per VIP account is now enforced.

    Awesome! Thanks for the heads up! I love displaying a big and little version of models next to each other but had traded away my original camper van from last year. Now the big one can have a baby! ;-)

    Sometime you just need to refresh the page to see the Promotional Product to appear in the cart. Even when the message say it’s been added on the top of the page but it doesn’t appear on the bottom.

    Yes, I believe it will. As reported on the "other"site several people called and were told that it is indeed an unadvertised promotion while supplies last.

    Damn... That tipped the scales for me. I've been on the fence for this one for a long time now. I guess this was the deal I've been waiting for.

    This was an unexpected blow to my budget. Especially when I consider the next Winter Village set, CMF 12, and the poorly designed Hobbit wave three that I won't be able to resist. Looks like I will be returning some of those Wally World clearance finds from this weekend.

    Just tried that - and it did get added. I already have a camper van (both sizes), so don't need to order. Thanks for helping to clarify how to make it work.

    #30265 Worriz’ Fire Bike does not set limit in its fine print but has "cannot be ... combined with any other ... free gift"
    #40079 does not have fine print as it is not advertised
    #5002812 Minifigure Retro Set has a limit of "5002812 per household", must be a typo :)

    5002811 orders to go to max on the space guy ;-)

    I also ordered one, and 30 minutes after, I got a notice from bricklink for a set from 2003 I wanted for long time just appear at a bargain, I really had to get it. My Lego budget is really over for now hehe. At least I know I make 2 really big deal on those.

    Pulled the trigger too... I like the VW Wagon and have always wanted to build it. I guess I can always return it to our B&M store if they renege on their part of the deal.

    Whoa! My order just went from "Customer Service" to "In Process" in about 2 minutes. Guess they are wanting to EOL the VW Camper...

    I was going to buy the Star Wars calendars for my 2 youngest anyway, so with a couple of extra items this was a nice bonus. I already have the mini camper van and I'm not a VW fan anyway so I don't want the big version.

    Is the sticker sheet the main reason why the Mini T1 Camper poly is so expensive?

    I tried at first with no Spaceman added. But when I signed in, the Spaceman showed up in the cart.

    It's an iconic vehicle, the mini model is an excellent representation of the larger set (unlike the Mini Cooper poly for example), and the licensed sticker probably all factor in to it. This was also one of the first promos I remember where TLG really enforced the "1 per household" rule on. There was an entire thread dedicated to how pissed off people were about it. So, collectors may not have got as many as they wanted through the regular retail channels to begin with. Ultimately though - it's just a really cool little set that a lot of people found appealing. Mix that demand with a limited release and BOOM goes the dynamite.

    ^ Also, the white roof Panels are fairly rare. Because of this, most people can't build the mini bus from their spare parts.

    Strange. It says "This is a promotional item and is not available for sale." when you get to the product page of set 40079, however it has a price tag and a sale price tag. Was it being on sale ever?

    They were also briefly on sale at the LEGO store I normally go to (around January as well). I think they were about the same price, maybe 5 dollars though (cannot remember). Snagged a couple then as my nephew wanted one as well. There were only about 5 left, so I got two and my GF got one and someone else picked up two.

    As for this deal today, a bit painful to buy a set that could be around for another year at retail, but decided to bite the bullet and do it.
    Three promos/giveaways with one set is a pretty sweet deal IMO.
