    Sold out in Stratford store. I had high hopes as I'd heard they were being strict with one per person. Going to order online but Sept delivery a pain as the relevant birthday is at end Aug.

    Relevant birthday is mine by the way - this seemed like a good present from one of my sons and wife was on board.

    Oh well.

    Just checked target and the exo suit is not available for shipping, store pickup, or in stores...

    It apparently sold out quick. I did get a shipping notice for the one I ordered this morning.

    Lego's email system must be f-ed up. Have had 1 of my 4 orders ship and no confirmation or shipping emails yet.

    Honestly, to introduce a new color to one of THE most classic figures ever, and only produce a tiny batch is ludicrous, even plaid. At least churn them out for a year.

    Then why put a cap on the amount you can purchase? Lego knows that this set is highly desirable and they are taking full advantage of it. Only time will tell. Limited production runs happen all of the time, regardless of the company or market, and nostalgia always increases sales.

    Metro Centre Lego store had about 10 on the shelf, got 1 and my husband got one also. I didn't ask how many they had, the store was quite busy with kids - not many were looking at the Exo Suit (they were too busy chucking lego all over floor from the wall)

    I got the Research institue also!

    To try to slow it down and please more customers. It's better for Lego to sell 100 sets to 100 people than 100 sets to one person. Even though it probably costs them more in transaction fees / staff costs, they keep more customers happy.

    ^ I often think it would be better to have a limit of 1 on the first day or 2 and then up the limit you are permitted to purchase.

    Managed to pick one up real quick before work at the Anaheim store! Was so excited then I read here that the Research set is out, I must have missed that. I wish I had time to look around more, if they had it I would have bought that one too...

    It doesn't have to be limited for that to be necessary. They produce in batches, not everything at once. Even if it is unlimited they don't want one person getting large numbers of the first batch.

    Still no confirmation email from [email protected] several hours later and the order does not show up in my history. Only the VIP points being deducted from my account appears to have registered so far.

    You can still order both at [email protected], it's just a longer wait for Exo-Suit. I have a feeling the 30-day wait, may actually turn in to 45 or 60 days soon enough.

    I'm trying to remember the Rover. That seemed as though it was always on delayed shipping, then it was just gone.

    And just for reference, Mos Eisley Cantina, is also on backstock. I think a lot of people were pairing those together to hit $100.

    I'm thinking that the Exosuit will be the Minecraft of the 2015 Holiday shopping season. It won't be a limited run but Lego will underestimate demand and it will be difficult to acquire. Good for resellers though. The Target deal allowed many of them to load up.

    ^I ordered one from Target just in case my TLG order gets canceled. Right now it's the only set on hold in my TLG order. I just received an email from Target that it had shipped, so I should be good.

    ^ I doubt it, the item was only available on Target.com for an hour or so, and most of that time the ship-to-store inventory/store lookup was down. I guess if one just bought a ton in bulk and didn't try to maximize the discounts, they could have stocked up I suppose.

    Got an Order Status of Shipped. Get IN. No email from TLG. So it looks like waking up at 7am into a raging hangover was worthwhile.

    The Exo-Suit may well have a limited run and be difficult to find, but I doubt it comes close to the Minecraft frenzy. On one hand you've got a gaming phenomenon that kids are so excited about that Target and Wal-Mart are selling branded foam swords; on the other you've got a mech with no licensing tie-in and a tenuous link to a theme that the average person under 30 is unlikely to recognize. No disrespect to the set, but I don't think it has quite the widespread cultural relevance needed to become what Minecraft was.

    I picked one up at the Anaheim store about 20 min after it opened. Store was pretty full of people and I swear, every single person was buying an Exo-Suit and most people, including me also had a research set as well.

    Sorry @yys4u‌ , but the research set was on the same shelf right next to the Exo-suit.

    Finally my order is showing as shipped from [email protected] Attempted to order right at midnight CST last night, took 45 minutes for my order to go through. Figured I had missed out since by that time it was showing as OOS and my card didn't get charged until just a while ago. Pleasantly surprised I got one (well, two, one for me, one for my oldest son). No email confirmation from [email protected] yet.

    Looks like there will be another production run because the sets aren't sold out, just delayed for 30 days. I think this is just going to be #21102 all over again.

    Won't be at the same level as #21102. TLG has flooded the market with that set.

    Having several more runs of Exo Suit would be great. I'd like to pick up several more.

    So who else is still waiting for any kind of email confirmation from Lego concerning their order? I placed an order this morning when it was still showing mid August availability. But I can't even find the order under my account on [email protected] I do know that Lego cleared my credit card because it shows up on my online statement. Kind of frustrating how crappy [email protected]'s order tracking is. I'm not doubting that it won't ship, but I'm kicking myself for not buying it from Target.

    Both of my orders shipped, but no confirmation emails have been sent. I really think that we all messed their whole system up haha

    I ordered at 5:00 AM EST. At the time they were stating a ship date of Aug 15th. No e-mail. Order Status says partially shipped, as in the research institute shipped, but the two exos are on back order.

    Mine's shipped. :)

    Though it has an estimated delivery date of this Sunday....can't be right, deliveries don't happen on a Sunday and I only got standard delivery.

    Someone on ToysNBricks reported finding the Exo Suit set at a TRU B&M store in Vancouver. Will be interesting to hear if this pops up in other TRU stores (Canada or otherwise).
