I made another MOC out of parts from #70815 , a couple extras I brought with me and a baseplate I went out and bought. I have to say I'm definitely more happy with this one than my last. It's supposed to be a Super Secret Police police station or bunker type thing. The doors open, close and lock, there are lots of computers, a safe for confiscated goods and a jail for any unwanted master builders.

Attempted to make a bloody spaceship and failed yet again (although this time the lack of parts said it's word along with my lack of skill).

So I made a UCS Landspeeder instead.

Ok, take one camper van, replace the living quarters with seats, make it a tad longer, and rectify those grills on the sides. My brother has a 1:17 scale diecast VW minibus, which was the inspiration here, though I opted for another colour (his model is red, just like the set).

Always brace myself for what I might see when I see @vitreolum‌ is the last poster on here. Interesting use of minifigure hands. What's the stump pieces in the water? Not one I recognise.
  • vitreolumvitreolum Member Posts: 1,406
An older part, only appeared in Indians sets: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30131

Aha, that'll be why I didn't recognise it. Very nice.

So how many elves did he slaughter/disarm to decorate that roof?
    carlqchuckpplasmodium
  • vitreolumvitreolum Member Posts: 1,406
Not nearly enough to decorate half of it unfortunately.

Very cool! How is it that you have an endless supply of time and parts to create all this? You are very talented!

    LEGO Neo-Classic Space - Mini AZ-96 Podracer:

This 'Neo-Classic Space' MOC is a mini model based on my 'Neo-Classic Space AZ-96 Podracer' which can be found here: https://flic.kr/p/otdA2Y

Fun Fact: 'AZ' is my initials and '96' is my year of birth: 1996.

My final entry, for real this time. Finally managed to build one I don't feel like throwing out the window and is not a bird. Also made an extra little build during it.

I have just submitted my MOC for the "Create a Mini MOC" Eurobricks contest.

    image

This is the 3rd MOC I created and I enjoyed building it very much. If someone else is interested in building it, the MOC was also submitted on rebrickable and will be available soon.

    ^^
    "Man, this floor is freezing!"
"What about it Hudson, want me to fetch your slippers for you?"
"Gee, would you Sarge, I'd really appreciate it!"
    "Look into my eye..."

Aliens is one of my favorite movies!

Nice MOC, and that's a great angle for the shot, makes it seem like we're right inside the ship. Do I spot a mirrored wall near the back?

@MissingBrick‌ - is that mirrored at either end to make the long line?

Thanks guys. Yes it's mirrored at both ends. I only had enough bricks for 3 cryo pods!

    LEGO Neo-Classic Space - AZ-96 Speeder:

"Let's race to the finish line!"

This Neo-Classic Space MOC is inspired by Star Wars speeders. I tried to stay true to the aesthetics to the Classic Space and Neo Classic Space sets by keeping the MOC Bright Blue, Light Stone Grey, Trans Yellow and Trans Red.

Fun Fact: 'AZ' is my initials and '96' is my year of birth: 1996.

Something I built in LDD a few weeks ago:

Anybody notice how most of @vitreolum creations are dioramas? It's not just a car or a house or a space ship but several elements tied together and framed. I think that Lego would sell the heck out of such a set judging from the popularity of the Modular line. In the Batman/joker diorama above, Lego would give you the car and the fence but not the street because it would limit the playability for the kid market. This might be a topic for its own thread but I loved to see Lego produce this type of set for the adult Market. Ecto 1 is a nice set but it would be soooo much better with street, a broken wall and Slimer.

I recently made a spaceship for rebrick's friends in space contest, please like it if you like it ;)

(I figured I could post it, as the contest was announced on brickset... and I think it's a very nice built ;)

I used my girlfriends friend lego, so I was quite limited in my piece use.

@vitreolum‌ - that's a darn good little scene. Very clever use of two cape pieces to give the wide cape look.

@Shib I think @vitreolum‌ would need another cape in the middle.

@Adzbadboy an extra cape doesn't work. And there's more than one reason for that. :))
