Our Lugbulk order is being delivered tomorrow to my driveway. Oh, the anticipation!

The few things I've seen delivered to a driveway were on pallets. How large of an order is this?
It arrived on a pallet. Six boxes overall.

Thoroughly frustrated with an eBay purchase - paid straight away by paypal but buyer is claiming they can't see the payment. The payment has left my bank account and they are relisting the item now. It was a nice find as well.
  • samiam391samiam391 Member Posts: 4,492
@aduk- Are you new to PayPal?
  • adukaduk Member Posts: 155
@samiam391‌ - nope 100s of transactions but the seller is brand new and I suspect their account is the problem and they can't seem to fix it.
  • samiam391samiam391 Member Posts: 4,492
@aduk‌ - That's definitely it. Does it have to do with SDCC? The worst sellers are those from SDCC... I have lots of stories about dishonest new sellers on eBay selling SDCC items.
  • adukaduk Member Posts: 155
@samiam391‌ not an SDCC - just a really inexperienced uk seller (1 feedback) who I think is more comfortable with postal orders and can't get to grips with paypal. I would go for the postal order if it was a smaller amount. The funny thing is the next buyer of the set will have the same problem...

Watched the LEGO movie for the 3rd time today. Even If I wasn't a LEGO nut, this is still such an amazing film and one of the best I've seen this year

I have spent a couple of hours building my "Free" Hulk Lab Smash and I am very pleased to have got it through the double up.
I even got some of my points from buying my electric and gas. :)
Tesco clubcard is much more rewarding that Sainsbury's.
Looking forward to my next lego set.

No, I just haven't had a lot of time. Also, building with a three-year-old in the vicinity is difficult, with various sorted piles of pieces regularly being loaded into dump trucks and transported to a new location on the other side of my building area. :)

I'm with you on that; my three year old brother always mixes the sorted piles (by colour) and starts to build his own creation :)

Well thats a bit strong! I'll agree it might be ten years since they have seen sunshine but I can't be held responsible for the weather. The milk bottles needed air!

Just finished building the Lego Volvo Excavator (42030).....took ages...i reckon about 7-8hrs or so. No numbered bags and a couple of confusing parts.

Great build and its pretty strong - it can carry my crawler around in on the extended arm (just) but I haven't seen how much it can pick up. I think in a review its about 1kg or so.

I just thought of a brilliant sketch, I call it The 'Exo Suit' sketch.

Man walks into a Lego Brand Store...
man: I wish to register a complaint.
    staff: Oh yeah?
man: I ordered this 'ere Lego set not 'alf an hour ago, and it's gorn.
    staff: Gorn?
man: Yes my lad. Gorn Orf: Vanished, Dis-hapeered. Out of me' basket and spirited into thin air, It's Sold Out, it is No more, it's gone to meet the resellers in the 'bay. This Lego Set is an EX-osuit.

    Hah!
    Yeah, it's a parody sketch (that's right, with two r's and a t). :oP

staff: It's just pining for the Federation.
man: Pining for the Federation? What kind of talk is that? It's been sold on, this LEGO set is no more, bereft of life, it rests in pieces!

    Love that one :o)
