Congrats to all! Fab night, had to bow out early due to little miss's demands, but well done to winners, donators and everyone's cats. Hope no one is too disappointed!
    Cheers @SirKevbags‌!

I'm pretty sure there were four mystery boxes last night.
  • MinifigsMeMinifigsMe Member Posts: 2,844
I know one mystery box had a bunch of our misprints (aka bag-o-crap) and a couple of custom tiles. Another had a pair of our Brrr (aka Frozen) Minifigs and one of each of our custom tiles plus some nice polys. Another was a great set (can't remember what!!?), another had a wispa, brick separator and clutch powers DVD.
No one won a cat as far as I know. Though ours was trying hard to be absorbed into the internet via the laptop last night

Successful as that gambit was for Mr Tribbiani, remember that he was the only Friend who was still single at the end of the series, so it works for short-term hookups only.

Of course, @legomatt‌, if short-term hookups are what you're looking for, best of luck! ;-)

So the numbers of prizes in each ticket band, I make it:

    0001-0999 ..... 6
    1000-1999 ..... 7
    2000-2999 ..... 8
    3000-3999 ..... 6
    4000-4999 ..... 11
    5000-5999 ..... 5
    6000-6999 ..... 5
    7000+ ..... 2

Looks like the 4000s were definitely lucky this year, with 11 prizes.

I really enjoyed the raffle, the live draw was exciting and fun with all the comments and cat pictures. Great credit to all that organised this and good to see Fairy Bricks doing well. I will definitely donate some spare Lego for the next one and maybe even a double decker or 2.

Yes, the extra mystery ones made it 50. I counted them up, then had to go back and check when I realised it was that high.

Really enjoyed the draw last night even with the poor wifi in my hotel meaning it took ages to refresh each time. The whole effort shows what a great community we have. Though I have to admit I didn't stay till the last prize as there is a 2 hour time difference and at 0130 I feel asleep!

Oh and @SirKevbags‌ I have some more daily mail polys to send you. I'll get them in the post next week.

@BooTheMightyHamster‌ Did you get my pm about taking the 9493 X-wing tomorrow for @Joehelldeloxley‌ and splitting the shipping costs for the other 9493 going to OZ?
  • suprajamessuprajames Member Posts: 366

Refreshments provided by @suprajames‌ (limited to two cups of tea and a double-decker)

i do reckon if I sliced the double decker into wafer thin pieces there might be enough to go round, and could maybe get 4-5 weak cups of tea from 2 bags :)

I really enjoyed it though, congrats to all the winners, and thanks to @SirKevbags‌ and everyone else involved in setting it up. You're all far too fast for me, I thought of a couple of good(isn) jokes about 3 days later!

My prize arrived yesterday! Just want to put out another big thanks to @SirKevbags‌ & @cheshirecat‌ for their hard work getting all the tickets sorted and all the hard work that they, and everyone else at Fairy Bricks do.
Also want to say a massive thank you to @sirrich69‌ who I believe donated the prize I won, it was packaged up beautifully and arrived in pristine condition.
And finally thanks again to everyone who made the draw so much fun to sit and watch, it was complete worth being utterly knackered at work for a couple of days to see it all unfolding. Makes me so glad that I found brickset, it's such a great community. Everyone, give yourselves a pat on the back!

I don't think I ever got tickets for my donation... Oh well, I donated to a good cause and seeing that the tickets were drawn already getting tickets now wouldn't make a twit of a difference. ;)

@bobabricks‌ I can assure you they were mailed out but possibly hit your spam folder. So even if you didn't know them then they were included in the draw :-)
