Yaaaay! I'm glad someone else noticed... It was just hanging there... beckoning like a siren's song of fora... but having already posted, it seemed wrong for me to take.

So, what happens if you win but are not around to pick a prize?
  • samiam391samiam391 A log cabin in PA, United StatesMember Posts: 4,416
@ndisgize‌ - At this point, the prize is picked in advance before the drawing of names. Only the 1st winner had the choice to pick their prize.

If you are a member of Brickset, you do have a 5 minute opportunity to switch it for a "mystery box" after sirkevbags has posted in the forum that you won.

...and if you win something really, really good, DON'T TAKE THE MYSTERY BOX!!!

Managed to miss last night due to work commitments. Grabbed updates on my phone and chuckled away to myself like a nutter.

Great effort on the part of all involved, the hairy fairy seems to being out the best in eveyone.
Oh and fair play to @suprajames‌ for taking it all in such good heart.

    Roll on tonight.....

Good times. The banter here is marvelous. I was punished with non-raffle related stuff yesterday, but I've got a clean schedule today! The vegetables can go water themselves.

An excellent idea Caroline. I like to live by the philosophy of "just chrome it". Turns any frown, upside down.

*note: Does not apply to Hoth Han minifigure, that one is a lost cause either way.

I wouldn't recommend chroming your teabags...

I actually tried that earlier today. This is what I ended up with:

    image

"It's a delicate tea with the ever so obvious hint of chrome to it. Great for robots and chrome fanatics, horrible to everyone else". So no - don't chrome your teabags kids!

That remains a mystery until after the draw should he or she want to reveal themselves to stop any type of questioning into whats inside!

It was worth a try, I should have waited till near the break, then you wouldn't have noticed what I was asking as you'd be desperate for the tea break.

I'm not saying from who, there are only two people who know the contents of boxes and their numbers, myself and a completely independent forum member so that when a box number is allocated, I can't be accused of switching them ;-)

The fact this system exists should be fair warning to would-be swappers

  • JoehelldeloxleyJoehelldeloxley Member Posts: 35
