Purchased my 2nd batch of tickets this morning. I missed last year's raffle (coming out of my 'dark age' a month after) so i'm excited to be a part of it this year!

Based on my last ticket numbers i wouldn't be surprised if it is £6K+ by the end of the night.

NOooOOoo! The flippin' postie just came and went... leaving no bank statement (it was due, overdue in fact). I reeeally needed to see this one before buying tickets as i know i'm down to my last few quid. D'oh.

Well, for what it's worth I was only going to buy 5 (very much doubt i'd have won anything), but still, it's the taking part isn't it? I just don't know that I have five quid left in my account, (lots of family birthdays all at once, so I know I'm close to zero, just not how close... First time that i haven't kept a pen-and-paper record too. Typical). :oS

Hey everyone, let's really smash last years total. Earlier in the day I said shoot for £7k. Let's go for £8.5k or imagine what Fairybricks could do if we doubled last year's total.

    Go Fairybricks! Brickset power!

Good luck to everyone!! I can't get tickets this year due to a "homelessness and money" issues but I am just as excited to see who all wins things :) esp the larger items. GOOD LUCK!!!

I'm home now folks after adventures in Wales. I'm sure you are all seeing ticket numbers much faster now, well that is because @cheshirecat‌ is processing them and quite frankly he is better and more efficient with them than I am!

Anyway I'm delighted to report that sales are now at £6000 and still climbing!

I'll report another update around 9pm tonight.

@legomatt The mind boggles that you are able to get by in life without Internet banking! You continually amuse me with your posts so I have just bought some tickets on your behalf.
@SirKevbags‌ Please forward the 2nd lot purchased this evening onto @legomatt, not me. If I see the ticket numbers and Matt wins ill be a little gutted!

The numbers should come directly to you (legalities) but you can of course gift them to @legomatt afterwards

Planning to buy another batch of tickets. Do you mind if I buy them one by one to spread my ticket numbers around, or is that too much work for you? ;-)

    Aiming for 7k!
  • SirKevbagsSirKevbags Fairy Land Member Posts: 4,030
A block of tickets stands as much chance as individual numbers, probability speaking and it is much less work :-)

This probably goes without saying but we will be able to make more donations than currently advertised. We will identify those once the ticketing and draw is completed.

Of course, with the blessing of members myself and the other trustees could just use the extra money to go on the Inside Tour next year ;-)

Sorry @Goldjono had to be done! ; )

@SirKevbags‌ I'm sure no one would begrudge you that, so long as there was an Inside Tour Set in amongst next years raffle prizes.

I've just been reading last years raffle thread (I missed most of it last year) and I'm a mixture of giggles and totally choked up. @SirKevbags has put his heart and soul into this endeavour.

    Outstanding @SirKevBags. Outstanding.

4th dip earlier tonight, still time for more.....

Wow. Amazing. Nicely done @SirKevbags‌. I nearly forgot to enter and submitted my entry late last night. Looking forward to the drawing now.
