Agreed, the best part is seeing what goes where. I think I'll post my pictures to the thread this evening since I only put them on the Flickr page when I had the box. Don't know what I was thinking, I meant to do it but the old memory is not what it used to be.

No @dneul sadly box 5 is still MIA. Lost quite a bit in that one but that's the cost of trying these sometimes lol. But all others have made it home safely.

My husband and I are excited that #6 is headed to Tennessee. We love participating in these exchanges. There is not a LUG in our area, so we feel that this is a way to interact with other LEGO lovers.

I received #6 yesterday and the plan is to put it in the mail tomorrow (2/10/14).
As soon as I have a tracking number I will send it to Wrangler6915.

@murphquake Nope, I even tried to call the phone number they gave me. No answers. They haven't been back on here either since then (unless they got a new name) So I chalked it up as lost. :(

i thought i replied when @wrangler6915‌ mentioned me but i guess it didn't post, the saved draft was all in the text box =-o I have the box, and gave it a look through but haven't swapped anything yet. I have a lug meeting saturday and hopefully will have some goodies to share from our usual horse trading and i'll get the box on it's way early next week. Sadly this has still not arrived home. Makes me very sad that someone would keep a Jambalaya box :( So I am out all of my bricks. Not to mention the friendship I thought we all had on this board. I have a feeling I will not be doing another jambalaya box at least not for a while.

It's been hard enough being homeless these last 9 wks but at least we have had the money to keep our household stuff in storage but that was all. Just had a VERY tough year already this first half. Doesn't help my depression or PTSD I have but what are you gonna do?

So please @murphquake, please pm me so I can give you an address to return the jambalaya box to, please. Thank you

PS That like I just added is not a "I like what has happened", but a friendship like in that it is not good what has happened and what you have had to put up with. It's such a shame when things like this go wrong.

Yeah @CCC I finally realized how many other veterans have had it in difficult times. It's hard especially for me because i am disabled 85% according to the VA. So no one will hire me to work because I have to use a cane or walker to get around it. But your disability check does not come to you for 3 mths after you get out.

By then you're messed up trying to catch up on bills and figuring out how to pay rent for those first three mths. Plus food and other non-perishable items.

At least when I was in army we learned how to use our bulletproof vest into a warm sleeping area for when you are sitting up lol. So that helped me a little bit when we couldn't find a place to sleep.

My husband just got his job at Scott Air Force base. We've been saving and we will have enough to get an apt!! YAH!!! When we left Louisiana, the landlord only gave us 2 days to pack and move , so we had to leave all of our furniture and some of my Lego sets due to room (there being not enough :(

Sry for the long post y'all :) helps me hide out so I can think for a minute.

So since I haven't been around for a while, what's up??? :) anything good coming down the pipeline?
