sets 1063 and 1065

I am looking for price information on sets no. 1063 - community workers and 1065 - house accessories, in original box in sealed bags. Both sets complete. Any information from anyone who has these sets or has seen them sold would be useful

Check price guide in Bricklink.com and also check eBay (though pretty sure not many people have them up for sale anywhere).
I have seen people trying to sell them for hundreds of dollars (whether or not they actually SELL for that, who knows) so they are rare.

They don't sell for crazy prices. That is why there is little sales history.

You need a very special person to want them new in box, not already have them, not going to open them when the contents are pretty meh.

    Rare doesn't always mean valuable.

No, they don't. Those sets are rare to find but so rare that few people have any interest in them. That and they aren't really sets as far as sets go. They aren't buildings or cars or houses ect. and their not iconic like a monorail. They are really just a bunch of minifigures or parts sitting around waiting to be used or played with and collectors don't play with their sets.

They are both very rare, being Dacta (Lego education) sets that would have predominantly gone to schools and been quickly "integrated" into the classroom ( and small children's mouths and pockets...) and the boxes destroyed. They weren't available to the general public. Yes the number of people interested is small and with their being sealed is even smaller still. This does impact on the price although it very much depends on finding the right buyer at the right time. There have been 1063 sets on eBay that have been way over priced ($1,000) and that have only sold when reduced to under $200. So if you want it to sell you could try around the $200 mark but if you want to fish for a while you could set it a bit higher and wait and see. This only applies to the 1063 though, 1065 is really only parts which are less sought after than minifigs so this would probably be less than $100 realistically. The only market for this (apart from people wanting to buy Lego for their kids!) would be completionists who need it for their collections.
