So I got an invite to join the final stages of the Minifigures Online, but when I try to run it it just shows a blue screen with question marks in the background and an exit button. Nothing else. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but I'm getting the same thing each time.

Is there anyone else in beta who is having the same issue? Are the servers down or something? I haven't even been able to register my beta key yet.

Watching the LEGO Movie in a room full of several hundred FOLs may be the highlight of my weekend.

I know it's been a while since the release; I was busy with personal stuff.

Celebrating the release of X-Men: Days of Future Past, I created several LEGO minifigure concept designs for characters in the film: Wolverine, Magneto, Mystique and Beast. I also created a screenshot of En Sabah Nur!

Wow that Statue of Liberty is fantastic. It's looks amazing.

I am still building my PR. It's funny usually I just sit at the table and build it until it's finished, but this time I have only been building it for an hour or so each day. I must admit I find doing it this way so much better, I am actually enjoying it more. Though using the dinning table for days isn't a good idea, but it's nice eating on a tray in front of the TV lol.

Placed the (hopefully) last parts order for my Cafe Corner remix. I might end up regretting some color change decisions that look ok in LDD but might not so much in real life.

I am both delighted and perplexed after finding this deep in my LEGO cupboard:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Heaven knows where that box came from as I do not recall ever seeing it before. All I know is that I look forward to pulling something out of the cabinet tomorrow!

^ Hah. I was just about to make some sort of disco ball related joke... you beat me to it.

^^^ That's such a wonderful find, and looks to be in mostly perfect condition too. The lego fairy was good to you today... sure you didn't lose a tooth recently or something?

^ Well, if he did loose a tooth, I'm definitely going to try that!

@legomatt - How 'bout you kick me in the mouth, then after I pick up all my teeth I'll go check my cabinet! :oD

@rancorbait It might take me a few practice kicks, as I haven't played any sport for some years. Though maybe the fractured cheek, detached retina, broken jaw, and dislocated shoulder will reap dividends too. :oD

Or we could wait to see if something else caused the fairy visitation first, you know, just to be on the safe side... :o)

@legomatt I'd hope to get more than just that one box for ask that! :oP

    Feel like it's Christmas.

Received the most valuable minifig in the world yesterday. Cool. But then, had a few close afols over for BBQ this afternoon and one good friend brought with him a special case to immortalise it in.

Next up, another friend brought with him the last of the Lego Marvel variant comics required for me to complete my collection.

And then finally, one very generous fellow and his wife purposely left behind a near mint #10030 ISD box and internal cartons to replace what was previously the tattyest box in my collection.

I feel like the happiest kid right now, albeit a wee drunk. ;o)

Now that I have finished my orders for the GG, though I am still waiting for several parcels, I have just started Bricklinking the #10222 Winter Village Post Office. I love the Winter Village Cottage, I managed to get the instruction book for this set, and I thought they would go well together.

I gave my Mum the brick calendar for Mother's day (after she had seen mine and said oh I'd like one of those) and now every 1st of the month she texts me to say that she's changed the calendar and the time it took her to do it :)

Have yet to build the DS, got a used one in near mint condition for 60% off. Been waiting for 3 months but I don't have the room to display it atm and don't want to build it only to dissemble afterwards

After binge watching Arrow this summer, I finally realized what the fuss was all about for the San Diego Comic Con figures. I reallllllyyyy want #COMCON030 Oliver Queen.

Plus, LEGO made a "The Flash" key light, which hopefully means sets related to that show? I can't wait for the premiere in October!

I do not! The Oliver Queen Figure I was referring to was from 2013 SDCC. I believe you even have one for sale in your threads. ;-D

Really frustrated with myself and my bad counting/note taking which has left me with numerous missing parts in my Bricklink Project. Thought I would be able to finish tonight but now I get to try and make a new list and hopefully not screw that one up too

@Bumblepants‌ - You aren't alone, did that just yesterday. Ordered to many of several pieces and not enough of several. It's very frustrating in the fact you spent more money than you needed to and have to wait more days to complete your project!
  • Bluefairy_56Bluefairy_56 Member Posts: 320
@Bumblepants‌ I was going to start building my GG today, until I found I have some pieces missing, 3 white 1x4 plates, I bought them as I have them on my inventory list of what I ordered...but I can't find them anywhere. I have no idea where I put them at all. If I can't find them I will have to reorder it...damn, I thought I'd finished...
  • binaryeyebinaryeye Member Posts: 1,831
^ If you need only a few relatively common parts, check whether they are in any small sets that might be comparable in cost to ordering from someone on BL.

For example, these sets have at least three white 1x4 plates:
    #60001 Fire Chief Car (x3)
    #60033 Arctic Ice Crawler (x4)
    #60054 Light Repair Truck (x3)
