Differences in Classic LEGO set boxes

I was looking over two boxes I have for the 6372 Townhouse and I see that there are actually two types of sets boxes for this classic town set. One box has the typical white set number in the upper left hand corner and also has the top and bottom 'sides' of the box with the trademark yellow panel with the set number and title. But I also have a box with the '6372' set number in black and only has the yellow panel and set number and title on the 'top' of the set box.
Any differences in value or collect-ability for the one with black set number vs white set number?
Just wondering if one was typically only in the US Vs Europe, or if one box is of a later production or something

I'm not an expert on this set. Hopefully, I was correct :)

The Town Home isn't all that rare. It was widely distributed throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and North America. I believe the white numbers were North American and the Black numbers were everywhere else.

Pitfall is correct. You have the US version with the white number and the European/ rest of the world version with the black number. There is a third box that was put out in Canada by the Samsonite company ( who packaged and marketed Canadian Lego until the late 80s). It's a variation on the Euro one, but with numbers of parts and "Building Toy/ Jeu de Construction" on the front. This labelling practice was taken up by Lego North America in the early 90s with the addition of Spanish for Mexico (and others).

@madforLego My best friends sister had this set when we were young and I wanted it very much. I remember trying to take it and she pulled my hair. Awesome Lego memories :)
