Game for those very bored!!! Who can name the most sets? (without cheating...)

NorlegoNorlego Member Posts: 449
I have a few hours to waste away so I thought of interesting game. Those willing can name lego sets and numbers from memory and at the end somebody end up being able to name the most. Of course you can cheat, but that would not be fun!

Rules:
1. You can only use your memory! Not Internet or looking up manuals etc.
2. Let it go a day before you post another set number/name. (So those in the US can take part. Would not want them to sit up all night....)
3. To enter name 3 sets, then 1 afterwords. (3 first to get the ball rolling, otherwise it might take a while.)
4. You correct the previous post and give points. (You cant give points to yourself...) One point for correct set number and one point for correct name.

Hope I have posted this in the right place.

I will start with 3 sets/names:
3221 Yellow truck
3222 Taxi helicopter/limousin.
7208 Firestation

If the whole point of this thread is sets and their numbers it would probably make sense to use # before the set number. :o)

#10193 Medieval Market Village... then I'm out. It's the only one I can remember off-hand because I spent so much time searching for one to buy at a reasonable cost (it worked).

    #6530 Sport Coupe
#6969 Celestial Stinger, guess why i remember this one.

I've only remembered it because i recently bought it. Do i need to put set numbers too?

    Without numbers:

    Dual FX Racers
    Road Rebel
    Small Car
    Pet Shop
    Cafe Corner
That one impulse set with that guy and that yellow baggage cart
    Beacon Tracer

I can't think of any others at the moment.

I just realised that my previous post was a bump (and also that this is a doublepost). I'm new to this foruming system. Sorry!
  • plasmodiumplasmodium Member Posts: 1,956
It doesn't really count as a 'bump' unless you are the original poster who is trying to put their thread back at the top of the page. Particularly in Marketplace threads.

Brickset is a bit unusual as far as forums go in that the mods would rather you added on to an existing thread than create a new one. It's often the other way round.

Anyhow, back on topic, the only one I can do (with number) off the top of my head is:
    #10179 Millennium Falcon
Which is strange, because I usually remember random numbers without having to try very hard. But 10179 is just somehow a very 'nice' number...

    #10189 Taj Mahal
    #41999 4x4 Limited Edition Crawler

Set numbers are the hard part, I'm actually pretty hopeless at remembering those. I do remember some of the others listed above but these two I know because I am currently Bricklinking the Taj, and the 4x4 just stuck, probably due to all the talk on here when it was released.
