Brilliant way to refer to that website.
Also picked up 2 of the LEGO Castle Forest Ambush for ~48% off!!!
There are second chances, price dropping, items coming in and out of the sale...
The bad side of it.. have to be alert 24/7 :)
Please keep posting these deals everyone! Thanks,
If mathew got them for say $37.5 then that is a 1-37.5/50*.8=.4 so exactly 40% off when buying 2.
If anybody purchases 2 right now at the $39.99 rate that is 1-39.99/50*.8=0.36 so 36% off.
I do want 2 of the mountain, but given the discounts on other castle sets right now, I will hold until it drops back to 40% or more or just not buy at all.
Edit: My reply was to mathew, but also thanks to legogregors.
This is what my total says after I checked out. Item(s) Subtotal: $252.41
Shipping & Handling: $18.05
Free shipping: -$18.05
Promotion: -$14.94
-----
Total before tax: $237.47
Estimated tax to be collected: $0.00
-----
Grand Total: $237.47
What is the Promotion deduction of 14.94 for?
I wonder if Amazon is putting these particular sets on sale because they are trying to clear out inventory for the summer sets. Possibly means that the Falcon is retiring this year.
I guess a positive spin on this would be that Amazon is providing me with a much lower price per piece ratio and a more complex build...
Sad that I missed that Falcon deal. Even though people are probably stacking those it is still probably one of the best deals that have been out there for that set.
Wanted to pull the trigger on those pirate raid sets for LoRT but I got a couple back when they were 60 each during Black Friday/Cyber monday weekend My guess is Amazon is testing BOGO40% to be used and see how well it works to compete against other retailers doing similar tactics.
Then again it seems that every spring Amazon does some massive sale on LEGO.
Also part of me is wondering that if these deals are to be had now, or will you see them- or a better deal- down the road for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Also is there a set list of what is currently available for this deal? Amazon's BOGO40 site does not show any LEGO for me
