Gah! Some of the Xmas sets have sold out already at shop at home :( I was waiting to get them in store, when I finally make it the 2 hours to liverpool. If any kind UK person sees them in store in the next couple of weeks - would they be kind enough to pick them up for me?
I'd like one each of the baubles (2 of the gold if they have enough). Thanks muchly

Hey there, I'll be popping in to westfield tmrw and will take a look for you. Last time I was in they didn't have any gold out though.

^ I also missed out, can I jump in line also! Did not expect the baubles to sell so quick?

Hi. If anyone comes across at Creator Wreath set (30028), please let me know (preferably in the U.S.) If I don't have anything you want in trade, I'd be willing to pay cash (including shipping) too.

The Christmas Wreath is on the TRU site, but not available online yet or in stores. I am keeping my eyes open and will keep you in mind. :)

I back ordered one of the gold Christmas baubels last week, they didn't have any in stock at the time. Although this morning they emailed me saying they have been dispatched, so they may probably have some in stock at [email protected] now.
  • sirrich69sirrich69 Member Posts: 452
^ I am the same got email this morning, only ordered 1 gold one to make the £50 for free shipping.

Looks like i should have ordererd more.

Just went on S&H site and all baubles showing as sold out.

Don't know if this is common knowledge, but the baubles are not all the same color... for example, the gold one has gold, dark tan, and transparent yellow bricks.

    Still looks great though.

Thanks Russell. I can always visit TRU. I didn't know it was an exclusive TRU item. Any idea when they'll have them?
  • Russell844Russell844 California, USAMember Posts: 1,808
I haven't found release date information yet.

Thanks @lostintranslation - whatever you can find would be ace, thanks. 2 of each if you can? Thanks muchly.

Yes please to the creator wreath if anyone in the US would keep an eye out for me? Thanks!
  • Bosstone100Bosstone100 USAMember Posts: 1,392
Well, I'll also keep an eye out. Ya never know if a store will even have them or not.
  • LostInTranslationLostInTranslation UKMember Posts: 5,511
As per PM, baubles sorted for Savage and Collect_that :)

Both Westfield and Stratford had limited stock, ie no green in Westfield and no gold at Stratford, though W. said they expected more to be delivered later in the week. But I'd advise anyone wanting them not to hang about, looks like they are quite popular. FYI, I first saw them August BH wkend at MK so they've actually been around for longer than you might think...

I'd also be interested in an Xmas wreath if anyone finds it, I've got a few things to trade now but happy to purchase too :)

I don't suppose anyone can spare a couple of baubles for me? :) I'm looking for 2 red ones and 2 green ones, or if possible, 3 of each. I'm sorted for gold, as long as the LEGO shop honours my back-order.
  • LostInTranslationLostInTranslation UKMember Posts: 5,511
I'm feelin' the love, cheers guys! Wasn't a big deal, honest.
Sorry @LukeSkywalker, I'm subject to a (self-imposed) Lego store ban for the next week or two... if I see some next time I'm there, I'll be in touch.

Thanks @LostInTranslation! I really really want to decorate the tree with LEGO this year. :)

Found these in store at TRU today. @Savage_Steel, one has your name on it if you want it.
  • collect_thatcollect_that Kidderminster, EnglandMember Posts: 1,312
^ would you be willing to trade one more?
  • MinifigsMeMinifigsMe Member Posts: 2,844
Yes please Russell - happy to distribute here if you're selling 'em. 2 or 3 for me would be ace if they're spare?
  • LostInTranslationLostInTranslation UKMember Posts: 5,511
@russell844 & savage_steel: I'd love a holiday wreath if either of you is able to hook me up, I'm happy to either purchase or trade.
  • MinifigsMeMinifigsMe Member Posts: 2,844
If Russell sets his price, and posts them to me, I can post them out to UK members. 58p UK postage I think, and we'll split the US to UK postage appropriately. I owe you the favour, and hopefully @Russell844 will have enough to spare
  • princedravenprincedraven Essex, UKMember Posts: 3,768
Savage, count me in for one if there are enough please.
    Thank you.

    Me too please!
  • Russell844Russell844 California, USAMember Posts: 1,808
    Hello all. The eight that I bought are already claimed - 1 for me, 1 for a friend, 2 for @atkinsar, 2 for @drdavewatford, 1 for @savage_steel, and 1 for @collect_that.

It looks like I need 5-6 more for requests. I will try to get them as soon as I can and get back to everyone when I do. I have no problem helping everyone out.
  • MinifigsMeMinifigsMe Member Posts: 2,844
    Thanks Russell :-)
  • MinifigsMeMinifigsMe Member Posts: 2,844
Perhaps you can post them to one of us to distribute though. Since we're all UK. @collect_that has something to post on to me at some point anyway. though I'm happy to do it too.
  • princedravenprincedraven Essex, UKMember Posts: 3,768
    Thanks Russell844. :)
  • MatthewMatthew Cheshire, UKAdministrator Posts: 3,734
    @Russell844 If it's OK, could I have 2-3? Thanks
  • collect_thatcollect_that Kidderminster, EnglandMember Posts: 1,312
@Russell844 Thanks for that! PM me when your ready to send, I'd be more than happy to distribute to the rest ot the group. @Savage_Steel your parcel should be with you today, hope you enjoy it's a very nice set!
  • Russell844Russell844 California, USAMember Posts: 1,808
Hello all. I have not been on this side of a group purchase/distribution before. I have a total of 18 wreaths. The cost of each one comes out to $4.65 USD. I assume I am to figure out the shipping cost and then figure out how much per wreath and add it to the total, correct? I will figure out the total shipping cost and cost per wreath by tomorrow afternoon. I am open to purchase or trade for them. Here is what I have as the distribution:

    2 for me
    2 for friends
    2 for @atkinsar
    2 for @drdavewatford
    3 for @savage_steel
    3 for @Matthew
    1 for @collect_that
    1 for @LostInTranslation
    1 for @princedraven

That leaves one still up for grabs.

If someone is willing to help, I do think sending them all over to one person for distribution is the way to go. I will take care of Andy's and Dave's separately.

Does this sound about right to everyone?

Great work, Russell, and many thanks on behalf of all us Brits !

I believe that @Huw might have been looking for one of these as well, in which case I'm sure he'd want to grab the last one.
  • Bosstone100Bosstone100 USAMember Posts: 1,392
    Hi,

If you end up have an extra one, I'm interested. I couldn't find any locally (or a TRU employee that knew what a wreath was... duh!)

  • Russell844Russell844 California, USAMember Posts: 1,808
The TRU I went to today had several left. I can go back tomorrow and pick one up for you.
  • Russell844Russell844 California, USAMember Posts: 1,808
The cost to ship 10 wreaths is $13.18, so it would be $1.32 each making each wreath $6, rounded up a few pennies. Not bad. The retail price for each one is $5 and some of them I bought were BOGO 1/2 off.
  • LostInTranslationLostInTranslation UKMember Posts: 5,511
@russell844: thanks so much for that. I'm so sorry to be a pain but if by any chance you can get some more I'd be up for a couple extra and also I think @flump6523 was after 3 of them too. $6 each is fine by me.
  • atkinsaratkinsar Member Posts: 4,272
Thanks Russell, sounds great, you're a superstar.
  • princedravenprincedraven Essex, UKMember Posts: 3,768
@russell844 if you are going back to store I would love a total of 3 if possible?
Happy with the one so don't sweat it, but if you are going back it would be appreciated.

Thanks once again for helping us out with this one.

Did you manage to pick up a 30029: Pudsey Bear? I think I have one over, if you are interested drop me a message.

That's great, thanks. I'm also happy to help with group distribution in the UK.
I'd be happy to trade for mine. What are you looking for?

    Bricklink store is http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=AlbusDumbledore

Thanks Russell - let me know if you want me to send you money or if you want some more polys/sets.

Hiya. Just a couple would be fine for me if you can manage it @russell844. I too am happy to help with distribution although see a few of the names above on a regular basis so to be sent to nealrly any one of us would work out tbh. Thanks in advance.....if you can. :o)
  • Russell844Russell844 California, USAMember Posts: 1,808
I will see how many more the store has on Wednesday. It looks like I need to get 6 more. It will probably take me into the weekend to figure all the trades out. I hope no one is in a hurry. :)

BTW, does anyone have access to 30120 Guido or an extra 40028?
  • atkinsaratkinsar Member Posts: 4,272
    ^ sorry, I don't have spares of 30120 or 40028.
  • MatthewMatthew Cheshire, UKAdministrator Posts: 3,734
    I don't either I'm afraid.
  • LegoboyLegoboy 100km furtherMember Posts: 8,695
I haven't got either in any case. Wish I did though!
  • MatthewMatthew Cheshire, UKAdministrator Posts: 3,734
Actually, now it's been mentioned, what are your thoughts on 40028? Is it likely to be released elsewhere of do I need to buy (another) Diagon Alley to get it?
  • princedravenprincedraven Essex, UKMember Posts: 3,768
Sorry @Russell844, I also have neither of those. They are also on my wish list.
  • atkinsaratkinsar Member Posts: 4,272
^^ My guess is no, it won't be released for general sales and it's not the sort of poly that will be given away. Could be wrong though.
  • Russell844Russell844 California, USAMember Posts: 1,808
I went back tonight and got six more. This is the last purchase I can make. I need to save the rest of my money for Brick Friday. :)

    Final distribution:

    2 for me
    1 for a friend
    1 for @Bosstone100
    2 for @atkinsar
    2 for @drdavewatford
    1 for @Huw
    3 for @savage_steel
    3 for @Matthew
    1 for @collect_that
    3 for @LostInTranslation
    3 for @princedraven
    2 for @flump6523

I need to know who is going to receive these from me in the UK. I will take care of Andy, Dave, and Bosstone100 myself. Please give one to Huw as a Christmas present from me. :)

I will contact each of you separately this weekend to set up trades, etc. Happy Thanksgiving!
  • LostInTranslationLostInTranslation UKMember Posts: 5,511
Thank you so much Russell, that is absolutely brilliant!
I'd be happy to take care of distribution as well, so you can take your pick of us really :)
Have a great Thanksgiving! (and a good Brick Friday too!)
