Celebrating the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, I have created several LEGO minifigure concept designs for the main characters from the movie including: Spider-Man, Gwen Stacy, Electro, Aleksei Sytsevich and Green Goblin.

Well, status is that I'm relieved to have finished constructing some display shelves (entirely out of LEGO) specifically for my (relatively small) collection of Star Wars minifigures, which I have been slaving over these past two weeks - with name plaques and washed-out backgrounds of the character each minifig portrays, attached using the tiniest amount of blu-tack. Now my SW figs have their own dedicated shelf :-)

Now to go puchase all the minifigs I require to fill in the gaps...

@TheOneVeyronian I think that's absolutely brilliant, particularly the idea for having washed-out character photo backgrounds. Inspired! If I wasn't already planning on a film sequences type recreation with my SW collection (I'm still missing Bespin), I'd definitely be doing something like that for my figs. Great stuff.

Feeling shame at caving in and buying some non Lego brand minifigures for the first time ever, but then cancelled out by getting home to 4 parcels of Lego!

Less excited now that work decides to get super busy days after the 10179 arrives. On a positive note, that gave my bricklinked greebly parts time to get here for the mods :)

Disappointed by the size of the 31012 Family House. Particularly the tiny car in the set.
Which family has a car that is barely big enough for one adult?
They should have called this one the Studio House.

Happy that I got a third off the price. But still feel a little bit short changed. :(
What do Lego think they are doing with the ridiculous £59.99 RRP price?

Finally got around to clearing some space for a new city I layout over the weekend very pleased with the results, not much purchased recently though sadly, excited for the new train releases though so can see me spending some coins soon hopefully.

Still waiting on my Bricks and Pieces order to arrive. It shipped middle of last week - hurry up Mr Postman!

I still have 2 more small orders from Bricklink sellers to finish my London Bus. Then I can finally build it.
After sorting out some parts from my collection, I am waiting on my first order from Bricklink for my Green Grocer. I am going to make a large order on Thursday, ghee at this rate I'll have the parts super quick lol

Frustrated. I have the Death Star, Arkham Asylum, Fire Brigade, Medieval Market Village and Metal Beards Sea Cow to build, but no time to spare!!!!!

If someone has some spare hours that they can lend me that would be much appreciated!

I know how you feel @WatfordScottyM‌ I have 5 modulars sat waiting to be built and a number of other large sets to be built, I suppose that's what having 4 young children does. I did open my vw camper the other week though so that's a start :)

I haven't actually built anything for ages it seems, so am happily about to build (my first) microfighter (the falcon) and a 'Zorch'(?) mixel (also a first). Both are gifts from a holidaying relative. :o)

Having had a good look at the box, i'd love TTGames to do a microfighters racing game, very similar to the PS1 Muppet Racemania (if anyone remembers that absolute gem of a game - still wish they'd revisit that one for today's consoles).

I just picked up for my husband #60047 Police Station. I put on layby another set #60022 Cargo Terminal. He likes the City sets.

I've been buying 7 litre crates with lids to keep all the larger sets that we have both been collecting. It is starting to look good with all the crates stacked together.

Finally put away all the Lego stuff I brought to BrickFair New England last weekend (plus, of course, extras acquired there - including 6990 Futuron monorail!). It takes time, this unloading and unwinding ... !

I'm a very happy bricksetter, my Lego House set arrived today. Many, many thanks to @GoldJono.

^^^^^ I was a bit like this once I'd found my scissors and opened it's shipping box. There was another surprise in there too.

@Huw and team: The Brickset site and community you've built is something very special indeed. : ) Just wanted to say thanks.

I have finished all my chores for the day and am nervously awaiting the return of my oldest son from his first time at karate club, so I think cracking open a hobbit kit to pass the time and soothe my nerves is very much in order :-)

Happy Sunday everyone and happy building to those who are today

Note to self: Don't schedule LUG display events any later than April in the Midwestern US. A beautiful spring day killed any chance of good attendance today (and had at least a couple members wishing they were outdoors, me included).

I just received my large order from Bricklink. I have sorted it out and crossed it off my inventory list for my Green Grocer. It's nice to see my container filling up.

I actually did manage to see it in English before. But I think it's because I own it on my iPad now and can watch it on the go.

I now want Benny's Spaceship even more.

Just tallied up my want list of current sets and it's shocking.

    42 sets = $3,147.58 USD RRP

Time to make a sign saying "Will work for Lego"

Just picked up the #30310 Arctic Scout as part of a promotion, my 10-year-old-daughter's response - "I can't believe we've got the new head piece". And that, people, is how you identify the children of AFOLs :).

Just looked at my profile page and saw it had (at time of writing) exactly 1000 likes. Ooooh. In my imagination there are now little bells and whistles going off and balloons falling from the ceiling with 'Congratulations on winning the internet' written on them. (Through my less-than-scientific research, i.e. briefly looking at a few recent posts, I suspect @TheLoneTensor may have been the 1000th thumb, so have one of my imaginary balloons to take home).

...suddenly my imaginary self is looking back at me with an air of disdain, having realised I could've pictured myself instead flanked by beautiful women handing over a cheque for £1000. Balloons? it scowls, Balloons!?! Next time, think of women and cash!

    :oP

    @‌Legomatt - Right behind you!

Feel like sharing some of your balloons and cash?

Well, today ended up better than expected.
A fellow Bricksetter managed to pick up the Legoland miniland set at short notice and I got home to find a plethora of parcels: a bundle of travel documents for my upcoming holiday, an early birthday present from my friend in Japan, some polys I traded for from the USA and my first ever Bricks n Pieces order :-))

Can't do much better than that!
