Since I can no longer give you an 'abuse', I suppose a 'like' will have to do instead. :-)

I can't believe you chose Unikitty out of all the other characters!

    I'm kidding ;o) Great model!

@masterx244 - too right! Also figured out a Travis is a Dalek (1x1 brick with studs on four sides)

My Operatic Society is performing "The Wiz" in April, so once again I've been working on a MOC vignette from the show to be displayed in the local library for the fortnight prior to the opening night. The hardest part has been assembling the minifigs (Scarecrow was easy, thanks to the CMF series, but I had to be creative with the others). I finished it about an hour ago, but it's too late to take a photo - I'll try to get one posted here before the weekend's over.

I managed to find a crate of Lego in a shipping container that is filled with all our stuff from our house. I need to sort through this Lego to look for some Lego I bought at an OP shop years ago, I want someone here to tell me what set it's from. Then I might try and see if I can get the missing parts for it. As I am pretty sure it's not complete.

Excited to welcome a new grandson, Hank, and can't wait until he's ready to play Lego with us! Hank weighed in at 7lbs 4oz, and is 19 inches long. Sadly he lives over 1,300 miles away!

I just saw The LEGO Movie today and my husband compared me to Lord Business =( But, on the bright side, everything is awesome.

Went to my seconds showing of the Lego Movie too start off my otherwise Lego-filled weekend.
Went to Bricks Cascade in Portland, OR today. Got to see the fantastic new Sandcrawler, as well many beautiful MOCs. From Rivendell to an extremely accurate (not to mention massive) Asian monastery, from Constraction to Space; if any of you Bricksetter exhibited there this weekend, I congratulate you all on the hard work you all put into this hobby.

I have Lego pieces piled on the floor at the moment. They are still there this morning lol.

I was just going to sort out the set pieces for the one I want identified, but I have found lots of non Lego pieces. They are almost made identically, but they have no markings on them, so they are not Mega Blocks or Best Lock ones. I have had them for 30 years so I am not sure what they are.

So now I am also taking out the non Lego ones too, it still leaves me with a huge crate full.

I also found my daughters Lego set I bought her 16 years ago. It's Lego System #345, I even found the bucket for it, I just don't have the instruction booklet anymore.

Just returned from my first visit to Legoland Florida. Lovely 80 degree F weather and a slow Monday made it a great day to go. Miniland is always my favorite place in the four parks I have seen.

The plants are outstanding with many large shade trees helping filter the sun.

Definitely worth the visit, but allow more than 3 hours to make your flight home from Orlando MCO. Missed mine by 5 minutes and had to spend another night.

I just finished the Robo-Guardian #6949 and the Saucer Scout #6835. The Fluro green whip is missing I'm just waiting for that to arrive, plus the astronauts. The little robot is in the head ship of the giant robot.

Acquired some more train tracks and rechargeable batteries so I can completely rearrange my train layout all over again, always good fun. Here's a picture to give you a vague idea of what it looks like right now anyways.

Just seen this about the Budget. It is Lego-related, I promise!
    http://www.theguardian.com/money/2014/mar/19/budget-2014-how-it-affects-you

I love that for the most part they've used very random CMFs rather than typical City figs to form their "families" :-)

That was unexpected. Seems Lego is getting everywhere.

Some rather questionable attempts at social satire, though, amongst the choices. I'm not convinced the stained-vested, pistol-packing, thug in a cowboy hat was a very polite choice for depicting single low earners (bit of a low shot at those on zero contract minimum wages). That choice certainly revealed a lot about the prejudices of those writing the article.

I wonder if they got one fig mixed up - It was odd they mention disability in one section, and use the pegleg pirate for the following group.

So much sorting to do. Just not sure it will be worth it with these Batman sets.

^ I find sorting is easier on the floor than on the ceiling. But to each their own. :P

I've spent the last 2 weeks sorting, so I feel your pain. I'm hoping once I'm done, building will come much easier.

Went to the Brighton Toy Museum today, mostly old train sets but they did have some old building construction sets (some made out of stones) and an 1964 lego house

My 5 year old daughter has a friend here for tea, they are all playing with Lego nicely so I ask her what Lego she has at home, none she answered. I forget not all children have Lego. I think I will have to do something about that :)

I just dismantled my husbands Fire Station. We are about to have the house put on the market so this had to be dismantled before the pictures get taken. He can reassemble it once we move house.

Good luck on the dissertation. You can do it! (I finished at age 38 as the single mom of a two year old. Don't remember much unless I look at photos from the first five years of my son's life. And I finished my doctorate before anyone else in my class...all the others were men, who obviously did not have a child during the process.)

Hang in there as the name of the game is perseverance.

Ordered my Maersk ship with the double VIP points. It is currently out of stock and Lego says it will be delivered on 6th May. Well, I hope that is comes for Easter, that is in three weeks. My NASA set came also earlier when it was out of stock.

I need a big set to build for Easter (I always build the huge ones on special dates/holidays). Originally I had planned to build my Tower Bridge but I told myself that I'm allowed to build the TB when I finish all of my dentist appointments (I have a phobia with makes it difficult). I had finished them in February, but a couple of days later a edge of a tooth broke off and I chickened out of going to fix it immediately. Next appointment is in July, so TW has to wait until that date. (Also gives me more time to figure out where to put it. My Dad volunteered to have it in his office, but I'm not sure if I want it that way. He always rebuilds my models (takes bricks of and put them somewhere else) and that makes me furious.)

Also ordered my missing Mixel (my normal Lego buying places had only 8 out of 9 - weird) and a Lego Movie Minifig (for the fun). (Now I just have to find the bag with my yellow Mixels, I forgot where I put them).
