Does anyone have any ideas/sources for making small Lego tents to use in a military scene? Made of cloth would be very cool...Thanks for any assistance!

They are a bit expensive perhaps, but these would be ideal by the sounds of it: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=79396&colorID=69

    Good luck!

I'm guessing a clothing materials or maybe hobby store (like Hobby lobby) store may have a canvas cloth type of material you can cut down to be in the form of all sorts of tents. I think someone was also mentioning there is some sort of substance to also stop fraying after cutting it as well (which I believe is also sold at Hobby Lobby)
A hole punch can be used to then put anchoring holes into the cloth to put beams or technic parts/ bars etc to give them form.

Can anyone give me an idea as to where to find the tent supports for the cloth tents? I have searched with no luck...Thanks...

I would say find a set with a tent, and check www.Peeron.com or LEGO.com for the instructions for the set (if newer-check the customer service section). They should show what is done to support the tents.
I'm guessing they are 'bar' type pieces, but it depends how big the tent is

The one in an Indiana Jones set (I forget the number, I'm afraid, but it was a smallish one with a jungle scene with giant ants) I have has no supports, just a frame on the ground.

^Those are the exact ones @CapRex101 referenced. I bought one of those recently and really like it. The frame is brickbuilt with a few common parts.
