[Master thread] Help identifying parts, sets and minifigs

What sets are in this lot, any help appreciated guys! Is 75$ (US) good for this? Thanks again fellow lego fanatics :)

The most obvious one is the jet, which I'm pretty sure is from #3182. The second photo has the gray ramp, which is in only five sets. The black 8 x 16 plate in the third photo likely comes from #8682, which I believe the instructions for can be seen in the last photo. The tan baseplate in the fourth photo looks like it is from #6761. The large, gray raised baseplate in the fourth photo, along with the black wedge plate assembly with yellow jumper plates suggest #6479. The sawfish and white shark suggest something from the diving theme. The pirate sail looks like it is from either #6286 or #6268.

Hi Guys. another one from me. Bought Lego in job lots and have been wondering which sets these parts came from.

The orange thingy

I feel the following are from Bionicles/Hero Factory, but i have no idea why there are so many of them. And no other pieces for the limbs/body.

2 tires of equal size, but different color. Could not search from which set they were from.

Gun turret.

I searched for the thread, the most similar think to it was something in the Indiana Jones set. Maybe it was a custom modified vehicle?

I know these are lamp posts, but what sets contains so many of them?

Any kind of help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The black horse barding is from #10223-1 Kingdoms Joust. I think the horse could also be from that set.

I don't think a single set has all those lamposts. The black ones are mostly from the winter village sets, the white ones are found in many different sets including modulars and Belville.

The gun turrets (picture 6) look to me to be from a Star Wars V-Wing Starfighter. The tank thingy is a custom build, I reckon.

The Technic stuff in the 1st and 7th photos looks to be from the Competition line (http://brickset.com/sets/theme-Technic/subtheme-Competition) but not sure which set in particular.

Those Titanium Metallic Hero Factory parts are this element from set #6218, but that set only came with one, and I can't imagine anyone buying that many Splitface sets for personal use. I'd wager that they were bought from a reseller, either online or at a LEGO convention. The same is quite possibly true of the lampposts. Of course, I think buying lampposts in bulk makes more sense than buying Splitface mask segments, which are awfully specialized even by Hero Factory standards...

The "orange thingy" is missile/projectile for the movie line's Longarm deluxe class figure. I knew I recognized it, but just had to get to my tf collection in the closet to see who they went to.

Firstly I apologise if this is in the wrong section of the forum, this did however seem the most appropriate place. Due to other commitments I need to sell my Lego Hogwarts #4842, however when rebuilding it to check all the pieces before selling, it seems that Harry's invisibility cloak has disappeared! I have looked at buying a replacement cloak but I keep finding iridescent ones on ebay/bricklink but according to brickset the cloak should be white? Are there 2 versions? Or are the iridescent ones the correct part?

On eBay I have only ever seen the iridescent ones, they are slightly see through and have a pearl like shine to them. Though they can look white if not placed in the light.

I have been after Hogwarts castle for a while, so I have been checking out what's in them etc. and it's always been the iridescent ones in the sets.

According to Bricklink, the cape should be iridescent. There are no alternate parts listed at the bottom of the inventory. So I would say the iridescent cloak is the only correct part to use. The Brickset inventory must be wrong. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=4842-1

Lego.com also has the part in inventory and it calls it white, but clearly looks iridescent in the picture. Maybe that's where Brickset is getting the info from.

^ & ^^ It could not even be a misprint. The gold printing often rubs off pretty quickly if the figs are being played with.

A maroon/dark red torso VERY like an iron man torso but it's not!?

A torso with dark blue jacket design but with 'melting' pockets and lapel

This may be the first of many questions on this thread, so in advance, thank you for any assistance you can give. I bought a large bulk load of LEGO, unfortunately it included a lot of clone brands and when I started sorting it out I threw out some bits that I now know were LEGO including Dobby's head ARGH. These are two photos of parts I do not think are LEGO, but just in case, I don't want to dump them before checking, they may have come from my dark age which was most on the 90's and 00's!

In the second photo, the wheels, the club, the flesh-colored minifigure head, the silver/gray gun, the gold and silver sword, the transparent rod, the black flexible piece, the pile of gold coins, and that weird bluish-grayish thing with the hole and single stud are all non-LEGO. The yellow minifigure head may be non-LEGO, but it looks like a knock-off of an actual minifigure head (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bp69). The only difference is that this head was never released with black hair to my knowledge, which makes me think it's from a cheaper bootleg or clone brand.

@Daragh‌, Aanchir beat me to it, but I marked up your photos separating LEGO and non-LEGO so I thought I would post them anyway. Red highlighted is LEGO, black is not. I agree with everything Aanchir said, except for the gray/gold sword in bottom left of the 2nd image. I believe it's Sword For Black Beard with part of the handle broken off.

@Aanchir, well done! I had no idea what several of those odd Technic and misc. bits were. I used your info to finish my markups, so credit goes to you.

Thank you both for all your efforts. You have saved me a lot a hassle when I come to trying to put these sets together. I see now from some of those links I have some other sets that I did not know where there! Apart from their being tons of clone parts in the lot there were no instructions at all. It was also fairly dirty and full if dog hair so it has taken a few weeks to wash it all and get it all sorted. The previous owner must have had ambitions to be a surgeon, there are very few minifigures in one piece, arms legs and hands are all separated so I am sure I will be back with help matching up all the parts. I have 115 loose heads to deal with not to mention about another 100 figures partially complete, but most likely with the wrong torso / leg combinations.

One of my students had this figure with them today and I could't figure out where it is from. The head is stand yellow with a half metal face. the body has back printing of a hood for the jacket, the hands are not standard yellow and more flesh tone which makes me thing maybe the head doesn't belong to this particular torso. but again im unsure.

Can anyone ID this torso? I believe it is a torso from a new figure, and cannot find it on brickset, bricklink or brickowl. The hands are tan.

I know it looks similar to Darth Maul / Emperor Palpatine torso, but it is not that one.

@ColoradoBricks If you have them to view you'll know best but the brickset images for those do not match what @CCC has posted. You cant see the neck clasp properly but the printing lower down is definitely different.

Also the waist band tucks in on the other side. It is definitely not them. The clasp is also quite different.

So (finally!) a part to stump everyone. It makes me even more sure that it is an unreleased part yet to appear.

I can see similarities to Palpatine, but also to ringwraiths. So I'm hoping it is the torso of a Witch King. < \ wishfulthinking >
