And I have no idea when the end of it is ever going to be in sight....
order.... out... of... CHAOS.
Also my sealed #10219 Maersk train arrived, haven't even opened it yet, been playing with other toys.
Boy, do you have the life! ;)
I'm proud of what I've achieved and leaving it at that.
Good for you. You should be. Enjoy!
I'll try and upload a pic later.
Well. I finally sorted through them two nights ago, and boy was I in for a surprise.
First, it contains the following nearly or totally complete kits (no minifigs):
#10174 Imperial AT-ST (UCS) -- worth more than I paid for the whole lot, if complete
#6206 Tie Interceptor
#6212 X-wing Fighter
#7661 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Booster Ring
Second, it contains the following to more than 50% completion:
#8018 Armored Assault Tank
#6208 B-wing Fighter
#7658 Y-wing Fighter
Finally, it contains portions of the following, maybe 50% but generally less:
#7660 Naboo N-1 Starfighter and Vulture Droid
#7646 ETX Alien Infiltrator
#7647 MX-41 Switch Fighter
#7697 MT-51 Claw Tank Ambush
The space kits are a little speculative, but based on a few key pieces and an analysis of parts distribution I'm fairly confident those are present in some measure.
Anyway, that made clear why this person tried to back out -- this was a goldmine! It should have gone for between $10-$15 a pound, easily, or if they'd been willing to construct a few of the sets inside they could have made even more on resale.
For me -- they will fill in some gaps in my Star Wars starfighter collection quite nicely, going to look forward to building some or all of these kits once I get the pieces cleaned.
I'm still sorting through some of the pieces, and based on unique pieces I also see that somewhere in here are at 50% or less the following:
#7673 MagnaGuard Starfighter
#7074 Skull Island
@Legoboy to brickset friends: "I barely escaped with me head!.... And me organs!"
Has quietly told the kids they'll build Simpsons House this weekend if the weather is rubbish again. No idea where it came from.
Having to get creative on several of the roofs because I refuse to use the red ones from police stations and farm sets. Red is not my color. The other colors are monstrously expensive with shipping from Europe. Trying to build a Dutch/Danish type roof facade of Duplo ain't easy.
My few good girlfriends have long been convinced that I am nutters, but at least some of them are enjoying the LEGO Movie. (I laugh silently when they say how much they liked it!) And try not to make too much fun of their silly hobbies.
It's a JOKE! Milk the sea COW.
(Read the quoted posts and see the winking smiley).
Hmm, I think i'm going to take a few days off. Don't fancy being trolled, or I might say something rude. :oS
If he made a statement regarding the Sea Cow in a different thread, I think it would be quite appropriate to keep your argument in that thread!
Don't know which to open first.....
Now to go off and break some expensive trains.
It appears the Brickset favicon has taken over Google - at least on my browser.
Saw Spring 2014 Lego Sets with my own eyes in TRU, WM and Target. Much more satisfying than drooling over NY Toy fair pics. Now time to plot ... which to get first ....
Probably going back 2 weeks from now- DETERMINED to get that Martian Manhunter! :)
