  Hi there.
  It's a remote control train, right, with all-plastic tracks (i.e. they do not have metal rims)? Then just hop on down to your local Lego shop and buy more of the same! They'll have two types, no doubt, boxes with 8-each straight and curves (you need two boxes to make a full circle); and similar boxes with flexi curve tracks.
  
  BUT! if you ever want to expand into electric trains, they won't run on these tracks.

  Most people I know pretty much hate the flexi-track, though it has some specialty uses from what I understand.
  
  All the other track - 9v, 12v, 4.5v, etc are all older systems that LEGO stopped making years ago. Many LEGO train enthusiasts still prefer these older systems, but if you are just starting out, you are likely going to be much better off sticking to the current LEGO Power Functions RC system.

  Four boxes of 7499: Flexible and Straight Tracks and a box of 7895: Switching Tracks is a good place to start.
  
  Of course, 7938: Passenger Train includes a complete circle of track and a train too!
  
  7937: Train Station includes four sections of straight track and is retiring soon.

  ^ If you think your going to want a #7937 Train Station, I would recommend getting it sooner than later. It was released in 2010, [email protected] is now sold out and unless you can find them in a LEGO store, I'm pretty sure Toys R Us is the only place left with them.

  There are also rumors of two new trains and a full size station getting released this coming summer. Toy fair images in the next couple months ought to shed some more light on how much track will be included with those.
