Lego Employee Give Aways

I was just sitting here thinking about these so called "Lego Employee" give aways.

On my mind right now is the #40000013. I find it odd that Lego would even bother to put a set number (40000013) on the box.

Has Lego always done this with "Lego Employee" give aways. I would think that if they went to that much trouble with the box, that there is a chance that the set will actually be issued for circulation.

I have not see many of these employee give aways so any input on this would be appreciated.
