According to my list, there are six people yet to receive their gift in the UK, but everybody has sent theirs out.
To Santa's Elves, aka the organizers, thanks for your time and efforts, a job well done. To all the Secret Santas out there, you did yourselves proud. To all the receivers, the delight you are finding in your gifts comes through in your posts. Well done everyone and a very Happy Holiday to all.
I'm hoping my recipient get their's tomorrow, I did mail it rather late, sorry!
I intend to get some vicarious Christmas cheer by keeping tabs on this thread.
Merry Christmas to you as well!
...Dang, shouldn't have shaken it... must resist!
thanks to caz ( @minifigsme ) for being my (not so) secret santa and for the 2 EPIC minifigs i am now the proud owner of!! not only am i blown away by how amazing the detail and quality is, but it's the effort you went to, to find out 2 of my big passions in life - Everton FC and Ferrari F1!!
Merry Christmas, and thank you!
Despite the precious yelling at me to open it, since it's soooo close to Christmas, I am going to wait the next 4 days.
Yup. Gonna wait.
I think.
I'd been meaning to pick up #31005 for him as it contains 3 of the things that he loves atm (trucks, trailers and 'diggers'). He wanted me to build the main model first rather than either of the other two! There was a #40049 mini sopwith camel poly in the small cardboard box too but as typical for kids his age, the box was more interesting than the present :) Still the poly will look good next to it's larger big brothers I have on the shelves!
Cheers secret santa!
I kid! I kid!
yes you can!... yes you will!
Ps a little Facebook stalking made the choices easier. It's meant to be Alonso with his funky tache he had earlier this year.
Happy Xmas!
I did not take part this year as I was worried about whether I could get my gift mailed out on time but I am certainly hoping to be able to join in next year.
To all the wonderful Secret Santa's and the really lovely recipients I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, LEGO filled new year.
Oh, my word...!
Whosoever my Secret Santa is, please accept my profound and undying thanks, because words cannot express my utter joy and delight with the princely gift you have given to me. When @CapnRex101 asked me for a wish list, I rather cheekily said " If whoever gets me feels like doing a Superheroes MOC for me, I will be completely thrilled". I never dreamt that my Santa would take me at my word...or produce such a magnificent work of art for me.
The photos I took, below, do not do justice to this gorgeous scene of Batman perched atop a gargoyle jutting out from a Gotham rooftop - and I'm guessing this is either Wayne Manor or Gotham Police Headquarters, as inside we find a classic red "Batphone" on the lower floor...as well as a lovely Christmas Tree on the floor above it.
In addition to all this - which would have been more than enough on its own! - I also received a Headhunter poly, two unopened S11 CMFs, and three opened CMFs (Footballer, Cavewoman, and Werewolf). Fantastic!
To my lovely Santa, and to all of you, I would like to wish a very, very happy Christmas. May you all, who have yet to open your gifts, be as touched, and as thrilled, as I am right now. :-)
Also, as if there was any doubt, there will definitely be another Secret Santa next year :o)
