I was planning on going this weekend but decided against it. Main reason is I spent more than enough last weekend with the 3x VIP, so that netted me the 2nd Holiday set(still need the 1st one). So in my mind I was content.

I'm going to grab some of the Ninjago/Hobbit 2014 sets when they're available tonight, then I'm probably good for a while.

I'm looking forward to almost everything next year so hopefully they don't learn from this year and end up with a lot of general release sets at 30% off again next Christmas. I'm going to need it.

Ditto on the disappointment. Went the Arundel Mill store...didn't get one thing. Some of the sets had higher prices then [email protected] had (Eagles Castle was $10 more in the store). No CMF's (except the latest Series 11, not on sale) or mini modulars. Only thing of interest was the vast stacks of Tower Bridges and VW vans...literally a few hundred out on the floor. Wonder if that means a discount in the future? Anyone know anything? Or maybe just wishful thinking...

The LEGO store by me (Schaumburg IL) had Vampire hearses for 27 and change and the Dirt bike transporter for 10 dollars.
They are not part of their regular sale and I think they are trying to clear stock so just mentioning it if anyone was looking for those sets still.

Dirt bike transporter is going to be 50% off on [email protected] for Cyber Monday. Did not know about the vampire hearses though.

Did I miss a cyber Monday price list on here?

How can the Vampyre Castle be 20% off if it is sold out at [email protected]?

B&M Stores can still have them in stock.
What is really sad is these deals were not available for Black Friday.

Actually I just remembered it is a cyber Monday sale, but Im guessing these deals will also be in the stores.

Is anyone else seeing delays in their [email protected] order processing from this weekend? I used my VIP points from the 3x points weekend on the first order Thursday night and it's still "In Process". The second order placed 24 hrs later without using VIP points has already shipped.

The first order was also mostly storage bins. Any chance the bins are slowing it down?
  • givemeabrickgivemeabrick Member Posts: 12
^Same here. I ordered some storage bins plus some minor stuff. There are four tracking #s linked to my order, but only two show progress. The other two show a weight of 7lbs each, and they are only "shipment information sent" only, no movement at all since Sunday....
  • chuckpchuckp Member Posts: 684
^ Thanks, glad to hear it's not just me. Seeing my order stuck "In Process" always makes think they can't find my stuff in the warehouse.
  • ColoradoBricksColoradoBricks Member Posts: 1,659
I have received update emails saying that some sets I ordered are not available anymore and are removed from my order. They may have had a glitch in the system and they have to check stock manually.
  • dougtsdougts Member Posts: 4,110
still in process from late Sunday night
  • givemeabrickgivemeabrick Member Posts: 12
Interesting that my order show a status of "shipped" and VIP points are posted, only for the two tracking numbers showing no movement at all. Wouldn't really mind if they cancel the storage bins since they are just fillers in my order to get #40083.

Got a confirmation email for one order and a ship notification for the other. But randomness seems to be their MO
  • chuckpchuckp Member Posts: 684
^^^^ Uh oh, that was exactly what I was afraid of. If I have one complaint about [email protected], it's definitely their inventory management issues.

I did the same thing and my order was stuck in "Customer Service" all weekend. A 45 minute hold later (!) and I was reassured that the VIP points would not mess up the order and things were just moving slowly with all of the additional sales. The order finally moved to "In Process" Monday morning, but no change since.

#10228 and #10197 still "In Process" since the 29th

Mine have been in customer service since 11/30. Guess they are quite backed up.
  • chuckpchuckp Member Posts: 684
The order I used VIP points on went immediately to Customer Service Thursday night and stayed there until Sunday afternoon. It's been "In Process" since. Looks like LEGO did some pretty decent BF business even without the big discounts.
  • Faedian7Faedian7 Member Posts: 50
My #10218 is still showing up as "In Process" since Dec 1. I guess I'm still a few days behind you gusy...
  • chuckpchuckp Member Posts: 684
My order from the 29th finally shipped this afternoon, so it looks like LEGO is a couple of days behind the norm.
  • tomalphintomalphin Member Posts: 250
They failed to give me my 3x points and didn't include the promotional xmas set in my order. Thankfully customer service fixed the issue, although it took 5 days to reply to my email.
  • BTHodgemanBTHodgeman Member Posts: 622
@henrysunset - Did your order stay in "in progress" or "customer service" status for a long time? I wonder if they didn't actually process the order until after the triple points deal was done?

Trying to understand their logic.... haha

The email simply stated that their rewards and promo server was down when I made my purchase, hence the missing promo and bonus points.

I'll have to keep an eye on my VIP points. My Dec 1st order finally updated to "shipped", but the points have not been applied yet. Granted, the tracking number provided also says pickup was yesterday and the ETA is Friday...but nothing was ever picked up.

Dont feel bad...My LEGO order was sent in two shippments. The one that got here Monday was fine. I never got the other one....but I did find the empty FedEx box in the dumpster where whoever took it threw the empty box away.I really wish it was an option to add confirmation with your orders from [email protected]
  • ColoradoBricksColoradoBricks Member Posts: 1,659
My orders from 11/29 and 12/2 are both still in process. The one from 11/29 had 2 items removed because they were not available anymore (putting me under the $150 mark/free GC)
  • givemeabrickgivemeabrick Member Posts: 12
@ColoradoBricks, so do they remove the free GC as well?
  • ColoradoBricksColoradoBricks Member Posts: 1,659
^ So far it is still there showing "in process" with the rest of the items.
  • starfailurestarfailure Member Posts: 138
I've ordered items from [email protected] before where bonus(es) were added, then items were cancelled due to lack of availability,.. but they still shipped the freebies.
In fact, they cancelled everything except the freebies :)

I ordered on November 29th and my order is still sitting in "Customer Service" with all items "In Process". Just spoke to someone at [email protected] and they are blaming it on weather in the midwest and FedEx.

Apparently I should now expect it to be shipped today or tomorrow with delivery in the next 7-11 business days (crazy!) which puts me right up against Christmas....

    Brutal.

^I ordered on the 30th and its been "in process" ever since.

How can they blame the shipping company and/or weather when they haven't yet shipped your order?

I placed an order on 12/2. It was "In Process" for a couple days, shipped via FedEx on 12/4, and was delivered on 12/7. Granted, it was a very small order (one #6858), but it's odd that orders from before that haven't even been shipped, yet.

I love free shipping! You get high quality boxes and air bags too.

My three orders were only in the "in process" stage for a max of two days. All have shipped and arrived, except one.
  • mdellemanmdelleman Member Posts: 274
Not sure what the heck is happening over there but I will be choked if I don't see this order until close to or after Christmas.

It's not a huge order but substantial I guess.

    Horizon Express
    3 boxes of track
+ extras for buying over $150

Just checked the order status again and shows "Customer Service" but when you look at the summary there is no status and shows the ship date Dec 9th...

^ Maybe Lego flagged you as a reseller and you are under delayed investigation. You never know, you might be flipping those 3 boxes of track someday soon and then all Hell will break loose.

I'm kidding...but not really, you honestly might have hit some stupid trigger with those three boxes of the same item.

Last week after almost a week in customer service status I called. They said what happens from time to time is an order gets placed in a "bucket". This bucket needs to be gone through for accuracy and security and to verify payment method. So I was told. At any rate the kind gentleman with CS put me on hold and contacted the pertinent department and got it all straightened I out.

Later that day it did go to "in process" for a day or two before shipping out and shipping only took a couple days, even though the gentleman said when it ships it will take 3 to 5 business days.

His whole premise was that their systems were overwhelmed through brickfriday and cyber Monday, that they had technical issues and were really backed up.

I appreciated how honest he was and it seems as though we have all experienced one thing or the other with this but they certainly should have a tighter infrastructure and or logistical system in place.

If you have an order in CS, or backorder.. anything other than 'shipped' and it has been a few days I would say call them and find out the story. A while ago, I waited and waited on an order of 3 Holiday trains at 50 a piece, passed up a bunch at the LEGO store too. Then I finally called after they were gone and they told me 'sorry we have none left', even though I had an order placed and they had them come back into stock after the backorder status.
Moral of the story, contact them if it is in CS, or backorder, in process, etc. still after a few days, do not assume you are getting the order until it says 'shipped'

My order (placed on 12/1) was stuck in customer service until I called to check on it, then it moved to "shipped" for almost a week before FedEx actually picked it up (12/9). Between bad weather and the holiday shipping rush, it's gotta be a nightmare in their warehouse.
  • mdellemanmdelleman Member Posts: 274
Looks like my order has shipped. Just received the LEGO email with tracking. Should be there this week says FedEx so fingers crossed on that!

I wonder if my call made a difference or if it would have shipped when it did regardless...

Just got my order from 11/29, 2 sets missing that were cancelled, so no issues. Got the $10 gift card even with my order was below $149.

Edit: Just noticed that there was a poster from the LEGO movie.
