    Targets in my area won't have the Christmas stock out until next week. The whole area is still full of Halloween clearance.

    Stopped at Target in Elk Grove today, they are still moving out the Halloween stuff and only one aisle of Christmas up, but not the Lego train. Will check the Stockton stores in the next few days.

    any other polys they are putting out alongside it? Target usually has at least 2 if not 4 in the Christmas section.

    I can confirm that I have seen #30270 at Target as well, but I saw it at the checkout line. Looks like that set wasn't a TRU exclusive after all.

    Tons of them in the bins in SW Michigan. For those that haven't seen them in the flesh yet, they are the bigger sort of polys, like the witch. Lots of pieces, and a great set for $5.

    Picked one up in NC today. Cute little set and well worth the $5. Tons of them in a bin, so guessing they were put out recently.

    Found them in one of the Stockton, CA stores. Making the engines into tree ornaments minus the connector piece. One engine and all the cars will go on the mantle. Changing out pieces of the cars to different colors to keep it more interesting. Added the ball connector from the engine to each car to link them all together. Making gift packages rather than the funky candy canes to fill some of the cars.

    Here's my expanded version. Enlarge to see the full train. Still trying to figure out how to have a Santa engineer as Mini figures don't fit in the engine, maybe the torso on a couple of plates.

    Yes, it's the CMF. There are also two Series 11 elves. As off the train, I wanted to keep it somewhat close to the original.

    I can confirm these in Canadian targets as well plus friends ice cream stand and Hobbit poly 30212. Train was $7 and other 2 were $5.

    My Target just opened here on Wednesday, I'm glad to hear they are carrying polys.
