2013 Holiday Set - US Lego Shop

Is the holiday set appearing for anybody else? Was about to check out and realized it wasn't in my cart. Could they be out of them? :(

    Just tried - same result, no set. They could be out of them; I seem to remember something similar happening last year.

    Wow, that was fast, but I'm sure they are getting ready to start shipping out the second Christmas Set soon.

    I was at the Potomac Mills brand store this past Friday night, and they said that they were almost out as well. Curious if any other stores are out?

    No last year we had 3300014 the whole way thru.

    Looks like 40082 is done. Bring on the matching 40083!

    I do recall 2011 was the same as this year however.

    #40082 is still adding to cart in Australia. Interestingly not UK and Europe which is where our orders ship from.

    So it is, when I changed location I got the page asking if I want to keep what is in my cart, and for #40082 it said "Not Available - Since this item is not available for sale in the country that you have chosen - it will be removed from your cart.".

    But once I was actually on the UK sit and added a new item to my cart the freebie appeared.

    The exception would be if you happen to get a VIP Pre-BF event invite for a LEGO store, bu I do ont know if LEGO is doing that again this year. I hope so.

    One of my stores were out. Some years they run out, some years they sell the extras later -- like last year.

    ^Not. The promotion ends tomorrow for the set so there is no point. They only hand out later if there are extra left.

    The store here in Columbus,OH ran out last week. So looks like this will be the 1st year since Lego has done this that I will miss out. Unless I do eBay, ugh.

    About the same price on Amazon too.
    Some stores are stingy, or just do not give out all of them before the promo ends, which means some b&m stores may have these on 'sale' after the promo is over, I think they sell them for about 10 dollars per if they have them.

    Well, I'm finally getting around to ordering this years winter set. That's a real downer that they are out of the holiday set. It makes me want to put off ordering.

    Is there going to be any promotion coming up that would be better to wait for before ordering? Or should I just go with the double points and order it tonight?

    ^ grab double points! Plus you'll never know if they will find some holiday set in stock to send you. The fact that it is not showing may only be a glitch on the system.

    I called LEGO CS yesterday to ask why I hadn't gotten the free set in last week's order... The representative explained at length that they had run out before I ordered. Today, I got an email saying my free set has shipped! Woohoo!
