#7191 Flower Pots replacement

I have parts to a #7191 X-Wing but alas only one of the four #33008 Dark Gray Scala / Belville Flower Pots. I baulked at the price of replacing them (around $100) and I'm wondering what to MOC them up with instead. I was thinking of just replicating the #10240 X-Wing's engine set-ups, which are quite attractive, but since I plan to collect that one too I'm wondering if there's any possible structure you guys can think of which would more closely replicate the original. Any suggestions?
