I built something that really combines all my loves together (that is, animals, robots, cars and Lego)! To be honest, it does look a little strange! It's a robot cat that has a head shaped like the front end of a Jaguar XF car (get the pun?). The first pic's a sketch, the other pics are of the model:

I decided to put together a mosaic for our upcoming October LUG displays. It's pretty simple, but it gets the job done.

^I tried to make a Lego laptop cooler once (I used to live in Africa), but I could never get the fan to spin fast enough...:(

^ I love it, but can I suggest you might like to add the Deeping Wall section using a 1x3 arch? :o)

Hi, I'm new here but am working on a mega sized Jabba's Sail Barge by combining about two and a half 6210 sets. Early stages but should have more room for more mini figs. Not sure if it needs to be longer though? Sorry for poor photo!

Sorting again, got some bulk with a bunch of nearly complete vehicles that we're in the process of identifying and finishing.

Picked up #10230 Mini Modulars at STEAM at the w/e. Finished the first four, GE to go.

Btw, does anyone know if there is a way to get the VIP points credited (they couldn't do it at the show), other than going to a Lego store?

Just built the little VW camper van, waiting for the parts to come in to build the testing version of the AR stock.

Currently, I am building a larger verson of Olivia's House for my daughter to play with. I combined two sets, and have just been slowly using new building ideas I find to make the rooms better. Though waiting on a PAB order, I added a garage, a vaulted celing for the living room, an attic, and a large fireplace that also is usable in the side yard. I have finished a better BBQ grill for the yard, a sidewalk will be added, and the yard will be gitting a large tree for Olivia to swing from.

@Poisso3 I'd love to see pics as I bought two of Olivia's house hoping to be able to make them into a tri-level home, but I've yet to start.

I just built the latest addition to my fleet of super vehicles, inspired by my favourite car: the Bugatti Veyron. To date I have done a sci-fi ship, but now to add to that, I have a 1650 piece 'Veyron' tank:
    image
The roof is removable to reveal a 'hangar' bay for a small minifig army:

Doors open and a ramp flips out:

Roof of top deck can also be removed:

And the tank alongside the sci-fi ship and the original Bugatti Veyron 14-stud wide MOC:

I had nothing to do today so I built this, everything except the grey baseplate is from #9474. Sorry for the crappy pictures.

Working on the 10228 Haunted House. I'd planned to build it as it originally came, with all the creepy details, then work on "fixing it up" to be less haunted and more...pretty, I guess. But I discovered just how much my wife dislikes Halloween and all things ugly (we've only been married since late July) . The little vampires and zombie chef made her scrunch her face up like she'd just seen a ghost (which she actually thought were cute in LEGO form). She very sweetly suggested, "why don't we build it pretty to begin with, instead of ugly?"

I ended up undoing a few little things and am now building it without the boarded up windows. I've ordered a few inexpensive pieces to fix the outside stairs and porches. I also bagged all the "ugly" figures, and I put flowers in the jars which originally had a heart and a bone. The things we do for love...

@rancorbait - I love that rounded tower, very impressive!

^ Thanks! The first thing I thought as I was looking at all the hinge plates was "Round" :-)

Organized my LoTR/Hobbit minifigs. Put the duplicate parts in a pile and built some of the missing characters. I am very happy with the Rangers of the North, Men of Gondor, Celeborn and the Halfelven. Rosie Cotton needs work and I need some parts for Galadriel. ^ Not bad. I would think Rosie's hair would be more the color of the Gaffer's since she was like a dirty blond. The one you have is too dark. Also the hair for Gandalf the Grey might work better for Denethor than the short black since he also had long graying hair

  • plasmodiumplasmodium Member Posts: 1,956
@graphite I'm guessing @klatu003 is going with his imagination (ie 'from the book') with some of these. If it helps any, I think your Denethor is closer to what I always imagined than the one in the movie was. ;)

I have been working on a layout for a while now, it still needs one extra Technic pin because one section is loose. To make use of the spare printed parts I also need to order additional parts for the characters.

Lets hope for more Lego Minecraft Micro Worlds, so I can expand my Lego Minecraft Micro World!

@graphite & @plasmodium. Thanks for the comments. Here is Denethor with grey hair. The messy hair in the movie didn't work for me. I imagined Denethor with a very regal "buttoned down" look. This does echo the hair lines of the other men and shows more age, without being messy.

Not now but yesterday, I built the #10220 Volkswagen T1 Camper. Absolutely love it and now thinking of picking up a second in the near future to make motorised and/or different colour but not sure which colour yet.

I started work on a 12x scale minifig lifting weights. I was asked to make something or the local health and rec. I have him finished, just need to finish his arms and start on the weights. Then a basketball, and a swimmer.

^Does the jail door cover an electrical outlet?

Nope, I did consider it though. I put a couple of doors in to stick pictures of young nieces and nephews in. When they come round, they'll find their pics smiling out of them..

    Enjoyable lunch time.

Built #3300014, #40082 and #40058. I had hoped I could hold off until November, but they were crying out to be built!

I hope the images come through...and sorry for the image quality. Very quickly taken last night. Here is the Lego Friends Olivia's House project that my daughter and I have been working on for a couple months. This is two sets, and a lot of MOC-ing. Just when I think I am happy with a section, I see some post something here and I get an idea on how to do something differently. Don't mind the mess of bricks, and you can see a quick project I put together in the form of a Friends size pink VW van.

Just finished building #75009, #75010 and #75011, I hope there is more as I can only fit 11 on the shelf and there is a lonely Tantive IV & Alderaan right now.
