Its well worth it both in terms of figures and playability when paired with RP.
JP's real RRP is $95, regardless of what the sticker says. The only store that ever sold the set for $120 was Lego. Still, I think you can do reasonably well with it down the road.
Most everything that was worth buying right now is gone unless you buy it for full RRP from Lego. Its my contention its best to just sit tight right now and wait for BF or other holiday sales. This is the time of year to start unloading inventory and be cash ready :)
I sold 5 or 6 Epic Dragon Battles last Christmas for an average of $175, I paid $80 landed from John Lewis in the UK. I think part of the success was that Ninjago was a hot item last Christmas and this particular set was almost impossible to find in store at the time here.
Since then they have been on sale every where online and Lego has being pushing Chima. At the moment $130 is about the limit for this set. Although that may change getting closer to Christmas.
I think that there is still interest in Ninjago though, I just sold 4 x Ninjago Venomari Shrine #9440 for $20 each (got these from TRU during a BOGO and they were already on sale.) I probably could have asked more as they sold quick.
Lego's temporarily out of stock list is rather thin at the moment.

If you grabbed The Black Pearl for around $70, I think selling at $200 is a great return.
2016 for the next Pirates movie is a long ways away. I don't see Lego making toys for a movie 2 or 3 years early. As for the Cuusoo project that has a snowflakes chance in you know what of being approved. 5700 pieces? Really? Even trimmed down to 750 pieces is too much for a Cuusoo project compared to the previous entries.
I'm 100% positive the Cuusoo ship will not make it, but its popularity should inspire Lego to make another Pirate ship or two.
A recently submitted Ford GT is doing OK.
Is a ~$320 architectural building too niche? Does the lack of playability hurt it over the long term?
So if these sets are no longer to be found at substantial discounts I do not see many people buying them, which means less supplies once they are gone. Then the more iconic, and IMO the Opera House is amazing looking, the likely demand will be higher.
That being said I think Tower bridge is a bit iffy only due to the number of times they were put on a sale. But the Sydney opera house may be worth getting one to hold onto.
As for Playability, I would say look at Effel Tower and Taj Mahal, both of which are large models and not 'minifig' scale, and do pretty darn well.
I realize all of this is very subjective, but based on previous comments I've read here, I'm certainly not alone in my opinion regarding the SOH. It's rather hard to say whether or not the SOH will do well post-EOL. My guess is that it wont do well for two reasons: 1) It doesn't look as impressive as the other large architecture/creator sets such as TB, ET and TAJ; and 2) the MSRP is already pretty pricey at $320, so buyers would have to be willing to shell out a lot more than that to buy it post-EOL. I just don't see it happening to an extent that makes it worthwhile as an investment.
Granted, those parts are all small, but it "appears" at first glance to be more "value".
I'm actually quite surprised they didn't do $299 on SOH, is the extra $20 needed so badly as to make breaking the $300 number worth it? Why not just go to $349 then?
