Hi guys,

is it really necessary to add an item for the parts of a DK LEGO book as a separate item?
see
http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=11905-1

The other DK book doesn't have this entry either:
http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=2856077-1

I'd like to delete this entry, it is as if we were entering the numbered LEGO bags of all LEGO sets...

Best,
Ronald.

It is an automatically added entry from the replacement parts service.

This and http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=11904-1 are the first two bags in BM books to have been numbered, and given they are official LEGO set numbers, they belong in the database, more so than books themselves which are not made by LEGO.

@Huw: Thank you, I understand. Then maybe the category/subcategory should show that it's not a regular set.

By the way: I wanted to edit this threads header, but it said "Permission Problem - You don't have permission to do that.". Can't I edit my own comments?!?

The way Brickset posts work, there's a six-minute time limit on how long you are able to edit them. If you wait until after the time limit to start editing or save an edit, then it will tell you that you no longer have permission. This is why when you click the gear in the corner of a post it will say "Edit (6 Minutes)" or less depending on how long it has been since the post was made.
