[UK] 1980s/90s sets for sale

I have loads of Lego for sale due to one of my sons buying a house of his own and leaving his Lego for me to sort out. I have only a rough idea of price from looking on eBay and Amazon and I am open to reasonable offers. I would prefer that the sets go to collectors so chose this site. I can post photos if needed. I would need to charge postage unless you collect in person. I am in Hampshire, England, UK. I have checked sets and will recheck before posting them. Some wear and tear to boxes. Kids did put sellotape on some boxes. Lego is not bitten or damaged.

    I have looked for prices and added some after using 'Brickpicker'. Though I am open to any offers. I was surprised at some prices so please do not think bad of offering any cheeky prices. All offers considered. Thanks for looking.

    Hi, I am surprised that you get so many 80's to 90's sets. Those I was owned when I was young, but I loss them all in fire few years ago. I want them back, but don't know if you are willing to ship them to Hong Kong if so I am willing to purchase all the below:

    Does your offer include the postage or would you be willing to pay extra to cover the postage? I can weigh the Lego and give you a rough idea of postage costs (by going on the post office/parcel force website). I am very interested in your offer.

    I went on the parcel force website and to post the Lego to you is about £77.65. Wow! I did not realise that it would cost that much. It is for items worth up to £100 and tracked. The parcel is guaranteed 4 days delivery. (There is a cheaper way for £60, but the parcel is not tracked.) If this is too expensive can we come to some sort of a deal? What would you be prepared to pay in total including the postage? I would rather the sets went to collectors than be broken up for spare parts. My children loved their Lego and looked after it. We just do not have the space to keep all of their toys now that they are older.

    I am waiting to hear back from mbslego as they wanted to buy all of the Lego (as above, but not the Technic). The postage (to Hong Kong) is high so I do not know if it is a done deal yet. I am hoping to find out tomorrow. If not a done deal I have told Ollydc5 that he can have the Firestation (6389). As it is in the early hours of the morning in Hong Kong I will not know until tomorrow. I will let you know tomorrow if that is ok. So all of the Technic is still available for definite at the moment. What were you after? Many thanks

    Have you had a look at www.parcel2go.com (or similar site)? That may well work out cheaper for international shipping.

    Thanks Matthew. Tried that site and it is still £60 up to £85. Did not realise it so pricey to post things to certain countries. Cheers for your help though.

    Do you want the Lego still? Two more people have contacted me about wanting to buy some of the Lego. If you do not want it or the postage is too much can you please let me know as soon as possible. If I do not hear from you today I will assume that you do not want it. The other people are waiting to hear from me. I can post the Lego to you, but I realise that it is expensive to post to Hong Kong. So please let me know because I have told the other people that I would let them know today. Sorry to pester you, but I need to know.

    The prices I got from 'Brickpicker' for second hand Lego said the 6 Technic sets are worth £42- £44 in total (as listed/photographed above). I did lots of research for prices before I listed them. I would accept around £35 for all of the Technic (averaging just under £6 per set). I would have to add any postage charges on top though.

    What is still available. Open to reasonable offers. Or around £35 as a job lot. Postage in UK is around £6. So I would accept around £40-£41 in total (After checking postage is not a lot more to your address. Though willing to come to some sort of agreement). As you can see from feedback I am honest and the Lego is looked after (even if some is a little bit dusty after living under a bed for a short time, as son would never let me near it!)     1985 Fork Lift Truck, 269 pieces, complete, boxed with instructions, offers around £22 (price from Brickpicker). Postage at cost.

    Forgot to include model no. 8843 and powered by pneumatic cylinders for above Technic set. Willing to accept around £55 for all seven Technic sets (above). 'Brickpicker' prices say they are worth £64-£66. Postage at cost.
    Need the space and a big tidy up after a sort out of son's Lego and toys (after he left home and left us to it!)

    After advice. Is it worth advertising the 7 Lego Technic sets on eBay? Or is it more hassle than it's worth? Do not think I will get much if I try to sell at a car-boot sale. Thanks for any advice.
